So you got to see the coin in hand.....it is way more difficult to choose when you have to guess what the coin really looks like.

I took a video of the coin, but the video file is huge!! Anyhow, that might have helped, but like I said, the file is 183mb.

Well, what I look for is detail in the highlights and shadows, good contrast without blown-out areas, even, sharp focus across the entire coin, and good saturation without obvious over- or under-saturation.

Here's a link to a video of the coin going in and out of light. The video quality isn't the best since I had to reduce from 180mb to about 3mb.

 

BTW, the video in both links is the same, no need to download twice.

Coindude, I don't think that video works on a Mac? Won't on mine at least. If so, and only some can access it, does that bias the voting results? Just asking...........

HT: it's a wmv file. What format do you need? I could try and convert it to something.

I have a Mac and it works fine if you get the QuickTime plugin Flip4Mac . It's a free download.
