SBA Type Help

I have the book, have some coins. Can't tell...is this Type 1 or Type 2?

 

It's 1981. It's in a dirty flip...sorry and I don't know why the pic ended up sideways.

I do Believe that is a type 1

Type 1... in my opinion there are actually 3 types for 81-S. But I have never seen anyone else ever discuss the third type of mint mark. It is distinctive from the other 2.

thanks, bought this on the bay with a group of 3 to put one in my 7070. The buyer e-mailed me and said he had 5 sets he sold and after sending out 2 realized that some of them were type 2...guess I didn't get lucky.

KInd of hard to tell from the pic but looks like a Type 1. Here is a link you can check for yourself also.
