Did you "make" that one yourself (the slab, not the color)?

 

Or both?

 

It looks nice, but the very fact it is in a PCI slab knocks down its appeal.

I agree with gmarguli on the PCI factor. Do the photos accurately represent the color? How do you think it might have acquired that color? Do you think it would be slabbed by one of the "reputable" services?

 

I do think it's nice looking, by the way!

I sent this one in myself late last spring. I've sent duplicate type of toned coins with NGC and PCGS and only had one bounce back (NGC).

I'll probably crack it out and resubmit with NGC down the road, if I sell it. But, keeping if for awhile and the holder doesn't bother me. I think of it as a raw coin is all- as if it was in a Capital holder.

I pulled this one along with five other beauties out of an older home made looking type coin folder. It's the prettiest of the five, but the others aren't slackers.
