Fake $20 gold?

It's a very obvious and poorly made fake.
I have no choice but to agree. ;)

And to the poster on the DSLreports forum who said "Any numismatist will tell you such, and if you told them you cleaned it then it's now worth -0-." - That is not correct. Most numismatists do advise against cleaning coins. But, while cleaning a coin will often diminish its value significantly, it is misleading to say cleaning makes the coin worth zero. Especially for coins that derive a large portion of their value based on their bullion content or their rarity, as opposed to their condition.

It don't even look Gold to me. Could be the pics. The seam don't sound right either but I am far from being a gold expert.

If it is YOUR coin, I certainly hope you didn't pay a lot for it.

Strange looking coin all around. Looks gold plated, and the sun & rays just don't look quite right.

100 % fake-a-rino, In my humble opinion

It looks like one of these larger than life pieces that you can win playing skee ball or somthing. I have a couple of "1877 Indian cents" and a "1916 Standing Liberty Quarter" that are like that.

It looks like one of those coasters to me.

Exactly, just look at the size in the second to last photo, a double eagle has a smaller diameter than a silver dollar (34mm vs. 38.1 mm vs what looks like 75mm for this one).
