I didn't look at the supersized images, however, from what you have shown they look fine to me.

 

The serpent's tail is actually one end of an anchor.

they all look like original album/some sort of case toning to me

 

i have seen this before with original cased south african proof sets from the 1940's and 50's

What's your opinion on the toning for these coins?

 

1918 Rupee

 

Natural toning. Common looking for these coins.

 

 

Stunning 1936 1/2 Rupee

 

A little too bright on the light blue, but still OK. I've seen others like this and fully rimmed toned and they were all natural.

 

 

 

1936 1/4 Rupee

 

Might be heat toned to cover an old cleaning, but it's not attractive color. I'd go with natural.

 

 

Another 1936 1/4 Rupee

 

Average album toning. Natural.

 

 

1937 20 Cent

 

Color looks funky. Two tones of blue and no other colors. AT.

 

 

Gorgeous 1780 Maria Theresa thaler

 

Basically a silver round. I've owned these with similar toning and even better toning. They'll tone up nice with little help. Natural.
