1992-P Kennedy 50c question

Is this accented hair on this 1992-P 50c like on some of the 1964s? I don't have another 1992-P to compare it to. Thanks, Pat [/img]

No. The accented hair variety is only on 1964 proofs. The design was modified several times after 1964, and by the 1990s, Kennedy, like Washington, had a spagetti-like hair cut.

The 1964 Proof Kennedy's are the only accented hair that are so attributed.

That is normal hair detail for a 1992 half.

Interesting - it looks like the lower left serif of the I is smaller, just like on the '64 accented hair.

I think most of the mint kennedys "I"'s varied from time to time. I don't really think that the serifs were consistent in looks.
