It more than works. I love that design. I never realized until after looking at Sy's that most of these early commems were such high relief. They make our current coinage look like monopoly money.

Awesome commemoratives. I wish the mint would look at these and reconsider the we use daily now. Most of the coinage before 1950 were pieces of art.
