Any one know of a class action suit against eBAy ?

I was just wondering if anyone has taken off against eBay yet on the 'electronic' only payment thing?

The last time I looked at a cash dollar, it stated that it was legal tender for ALL debts, public or private.

It's just a matter of time before someone with the ability and knowledge of this process steps in.

I'm presuming since they are a privately owned business, they can make their own rules and guidelines.

That could very well be. There must be a reason that I haven't heard anything.

The Ebay paypal only policy which favors Ebay is just the tip of the iceberg of the erosion of our Constitutional Rights. In case you haven't been able to figure it out - ebay is for ebay.

Our country needs to return to Borders, Language, Culture. We need to enforce our borders and immediately end all free services to illegals such as food, housing, medical, and education. The illegals need to be aggressively hunted down, rounded up, and dumped back in Mexico. These scum displace Americans from jobs and drive down wages. The Corpie scum who hire them, and encourage amnesty need to be jailed. Yet we send troops and the tax payers dolalrs to a place like Afganistan which should have bombed off the planet shourtly after 911. That would have been a lot cheaper and more efficient than these "forever" wars. English is the language of the USA and bilingual publicly funded programs need to be cancelled. American culture needs to be preserved.

The mortgage bailout of people who can't pay anyway is a waste of the taxpayers money. These nonpayers should be evicted out of their homes. Let the market determine the home prices. I am sick and tired of seeing our country catering to those who consume rather than those who carry their load and produce.

I believe these so called stimulus plans are doomed to failure. I believe we are headed to massive unemployment, rioting, and a steadily decreasing quality of life until some kind of bottom is reached. I take stock in Mr Smith and Mr Wesson.

I also expect gold and silver to head much higher as the worthlessness of our fiat currency unravels more over the coming months. WW 3 will turn our economy around - we are now probably like 1937-38 the years before WW2. Until we devise a military strategy which is based on excising our enemies (both participant combatants and their supporters) from the planet we are doomed to repeat the same cycle of failure. In my view, the civilian population and infrastructure that supports or allows terrorists in a particular country is a valid strategic target also.

I thnk we will see massive decreases in bid values of coins not supported by bullion as the economy sinks further.

As for Arizona1950 .

Man Iam so glad I live on the other side of the world

Arizona1950 is not your typical United States citizen. America is the greatest place in the world to live. We have great health care, National Parks, clean towns and suburbs, education with the best colleges in the world, freedom of speech, free elections, the ability to become what ever you wish, freedom to move from state to state, modern military, Interstate Highway system, safe air travel, rivers and lakes for recreation and supply, fertile soil in the grain belt, gambling, National Sporting events, Olympic champions, pet hospitals, major automotive industry, major aircraft industry, Americans give aid to many underprivileged nations and we are usually the first to arrive in disasters, world peacekeepers and negotiators, we have islands, mountains, plains, gorges, deserts, forests, sanctuaries, monuments, oil & gas, research, minerals, NASA, NOAA and of course, NGC…as you can see, I could go on and on about America, there are way more positive aspects about this place than there are negative.

As do I. (thumbs u

I am not sure what immigration, bailouts, war, taxes and culture have to do with

wether or not a paypal exclusive E-bay is legal.

Oh yea..... American culture? There is very little of that left, visit your local Native American reservation (or a small Mexican town, They are after all Natives) to see a mear shadow of what American culture used to be. What we have in the U.S. now is World culture, and I wouldn't have it any other way. :headbang:

But not here .Landed in Germany once couldn't find my passport was coming to customs and was escorted to a little room with a guard with a nice MP5 to discuss my options .Spent $185.00 after being put in contact with the US Embacy and was allowed purchase a VISA .Two min later my friend rushed in with my passport &

was told sorry no refunds. Though in Az now we are starting to see more and more of these signs which are of a consern . SIGN SAYS ----- CAUTION THIS AREA/ROAD IS USED FOR ILLIGAL PURPOSES BE USE CAUTION AND BEWARE OF YOUR SOROUNDINGS---Arizona Governor is not the head of US homeland security so maybe some of you will get to see this type of sign in your area soon .

spent time in Monaco Monte-Carlo I could live there if i had a few more millions

The only law suit against eBay at the moment is the one that also names the ANA and PCGS as co-defendants regarding by Universal Grading Service and three principals alleging anti-competitive conduct in not allowing listing to include all TPGs in the listing title. You can read more about this suit here,

As for this issue, I am not sure if I have an opinion one way or another. I understand the arguments on both side but I am not sure that there is anything that someone could sue eBay for. As a buyer, I don't care because I use PayPal anyway. As a seller, I wish I had better controls over the fees with better services.

I don't know what the right answer is, but I do know that if I don't like the rules, I am free to take my business elsewhere. I am considering creating a price list and make it available via classified ads or online. This way, I can let anyone pay any way they want.

Just me 2c .

EBAY CEO Meg Whitman has recently been hinting that she may be running for the governor's seat in California after the Terminator's term is up...why would someone, who against all odds, managed to destroy a massive on-line company who held a virtual monopoly in their niche, think that she has the answers to California's financial crisis?

If she can tank a great entity like ebay with her policies, will the people of California trust her with what is essentially the world's 4th largest economy?

Yea, I think eBay tanked with the departure of Meg Whitman, not under her.
