MS68 1971-S Business Strike IKE

The very first MS68 was 1971-S Business Strike IKE was graded ATS in December of last year and now another one has shown up.

 

Anybody here know who might have made this grade ATS??

No clue, but first guess is that it's a mistake and a PF in MS slab.

 

Oh I think these 68's are quite possible, especially in the beat up fogged out blue packs. I've pulled some nice coins out of those and Mint sealed packages of 5 come around every now and again.

 

As for this being a mistake, all you gotta do is look at the reverse since the Business Strike and the Proofs had different reverses.

 

Now, if it IS a proof AND it has the Type 1 reverse, then it would be more expensive than an MS68 1971-S Business Strike anyway.
