Tom, thanks for that rather subtle education! Civil War tokens - know little about them but know when I see them attributed as such and look at the coin/token itself - well there is something special here. Forgive my lack of knowledge on this particular filed but still - very nice stuff.

I like this one for a couple reasons. First I bought($2) it for my Dad when I was 11 in 1972. The dealer called it an "alligator nickle". Also cause it is an internel cud. Most are on the rim. It is a 1966.
