That's what a work area is suppose to look like. Mine used to look close to that. Now we're cramped in a small house for the time being and I have an old laptop set on my wife's sewing machine table. lol

I'm too embarrassed to show you my office. The photos that have already been posted are nothing compared to the tornado, hurricane, tsunami, earthquake and volcanic eruption that hit mine. However, here are photos of some of the rooms that surround the disaster area.

Your Mother had nice taste - I am sure it wasn't you. :)

Still got Moms work room setup - I would like to see a closer picture of the 'painting in progress' thats on the easel. Is it completed ???

It is completed. I believe it is an acrylic.

I will tour that living legacy of your mothers works 'museum' soon ...

I didn't see the POOL table where the real work gets done by you :)

I don't think so. You see, my brother and sisters have sued me (as the executor of Mom's estate) to force the sale of the house. A few months ago, they agreed to a buy-out, but I haven't been able to get the financing on my income alone. Saturday, I received a letter from my attorney (sent to him from their attorney) stating that they are proceeding with the terms of the mediation agreement, and I have 30 days to vacate the premises. Does anyone want to buy a 9,000 sq. ft. home for $1,300,000? $600,000 down and I'll hold a first mortgage for the balance at 5%.

mess ... I thought your financing was in place.

I am sorry to hear that Chris - the place is absolutely wonderful.

I know at the end you will have a pretty decent bank account but sometimes the $

is NOT worth the heartache of losing the place. Siblings do suck sometime ...

Beautiful home, Chris. I truly hate the issues you are facing. It is bad enough that you lose someone so important, but then to have to squabble over their assets.

I now feel badly about posting my little corner of heaven. lol As all here know I am not a photographer, so, without the benefit of a panoramic vista view or whatever, I forced two views together, so, no Chris it is not a TeePee with tilted walls-just my photography.

Here it is, anyway.

You don't want to see my office... It's worse than the attached picture! But the image is from my office--the area next to the computer. lol

Just be careful that all of those books on the shelf behind where you sit don't slide off and hit you in the noggin! lol

I'm usually very private...and this is very embarrassing..as you can see I'm a pack rat..I bought this ginormous cabinet for coins..and I never have desk space...I hadn't realized the level of my hoarding or messiness until I took these... doh!

PS: now when people see my ebay listings that say :"Found this coin in a desk cubbie--forgot I had it"...you'll see I'm telling the truth....crud..here goes...

Hey guys, I'm sure most of you never even missed me!!! I've been away a while working out of town. I have to go out one more time at the end of this week and hopefully this will be the last for a while. Anyway I thought this was a cool thread. Nice to see were some of you do your thing. Here's my do all corner in the back of the dining room, not much but it's my corner. I hope to have my permanent office finished by winter. So does the wife.

I could, but then I'd have to kill you. lol

What is funny is that at work I have everything organized, and I am not the owner. At home is a different story. I don't get paid to keep it tidy.
