What do you think of my new toned Sac's

The toning looks unusual because the first year the Mint had a problem with them turning an ugly shade of brownish green. Did these come from bags?

Usually these get an ugly haze to them. I actually like the toning that is these, just a little peculiar as I have never seen them tone like that.

Welcome to the boards half dollar. :hi:

There's a Sacaqawea dollar I could like, nice colors! :insane:

How did this coin get like this? hm Do you know or did you find it like this?

Just curious (shrug)

Odd how they have almost the same toning patter and color.

I found 7 different ones in holders. They have been in there for some time as you can see. Pretty cool huh? I may get them slabbed. Or may wait and see if it gets better.

By the way, thanks for the welcome

I can't speak for this coin becuase I do not know its origin, but Sacagawea dollars DO naturally tone in rainbow hues, sometimes. However, as others have eluded to, they can also be doctored to achieve rainbow colors. NGC is very much against grading toned Sacs, even ones I know to be natural.
