Each of us has our own subjective/biased opinions regarding whom qualifies as a troll and I don't plan to single out anyone in particular from my short list. However, if you feel that someone is acting as a troll, please don't reply to him/her and/or report him/her to the forum moderator by clicking on "notify" toward the bottom right hand corner of the post(s) in question.

 

I have vowed not to respond to certain posters here and have refrained from doing so. I have also used the "notify" button, as well and I suggest each of you to do the same if/when you feel it is warranted.

 

Thanks, and this will be my only post to this thread, no matter how badly I might want to speak up again later. I will try to set a good example of discipline, as I quietly and repeatedly "bite my tongue". ;)

I think CC is just misunderstood, maybe he just got off on the wrong foot.

My boy has always been the class clown, but this year he's in high school and his teacher's look at me like I'm crazy when I tell them that.

It looks like this thread was started explictily to bash CC. Behavior such as this thread may result in action taken by board moderators. What is wrong with members expressing their opinions just like you do, even though you do not agree with them all the time.

I actually believe that a forum is for all to voice there own opinions on the topics that are brought up. I do believe that opinions should be done in a respectful and polite manner towards the other members. Rudeness and disrespect should not be allowed at all. I have never had anyone treat me with disrespect since I've been on the boards, and I am grateful for that. I know that it looks like this topic has been directed towards CC. I do not personally know him, but I have noticed that most posts from him have been derogatory. Eevn though it is not my decision to remove any member from this forum, I'm sure, that if NGC felt there was a need to remove someone, they would do it. I feel this forum was created for numismatists, hobbyists, and collectors alike, to be able to help each other in a positive environment. As I stated, if NGC feels this environment is being jeopardized by an individual, I would think that they would remove them. JMO

Amen Bobby, I don't know CC either and I really think he is misrepresented. I do know he doesn't like the CAC and neither do I.

Ok for the newer guys here what is the Hoot must die thing all about? I suspect it is a joke but one never knows :whistle:

 

AND to stay on topic perhaps if someone is put on 100 ( or you pick the number ) ignore this user buttons NGC could remove them or monitor their posts before they appear.

Apparently Mark Feld wants everyone to fall lock-step into his thinking regarding CAC or he considers them to be trolling-----so sad for small minds !

Now CC he never once mentioned any names or any circumstances, implying to any one thing or person. There is, however, a lot of people who comes to these boards, primarily to "Troll these boards" and advertise a site or product. This is not what the Collector's Society was formed to accomplish, every man and his opinions are just that and just as important as the next guys.

At least I know they are listening to when I hit the "Report" button. CC may have something to add, but the one-line quotes are irritating--tell us in your own words what you think--and the baiting on the CAC is bordering on obsessive behavior. He needs to move on.
