Saturday night guess the grade and Overton - Double Shot!!!

9 posts in this topic

Jeff,

I'll take a shot at 1814 being VF30 O-103 and the 1819 being EF40 and I'll take a wild shot here and say the Overton to be O-106 because of the spearlike defect near the top of the 2nd 1, the lower knob on the 9 being flat, and star 13 being flat. I truly do not feal the reverse is exact, as I do not feel any description of the 5 matches this coin, I may just be tired but this is my best guess. JMO

OK people, does the '19 look like it might have been "buffed" or is it me?

I have no clue (but it does look a little peculiar to me) and that's why i'm asking.

Thanks in advance,

Ray

Ok! Nice work everyone, the 1814 is an O-103 graded VF-30 by ANACS, but Ray had it right on the 1819, it's been cleaned (probably not recently) XF details net VF-20 by ANACS and it is an O-109.
