Ready for another SkyMan Toner?

This was a toughie to image as Bruce can attest. It has semi proof like features along with some great color. I believe the color along with the condition of the reverse are responsible for the 64* grade that is on the holder. As with all Sy's toners, the images don't do the coin justice. They do, however, greatly magnify any imperfection the coin may have.

I don't see any weave marks, it wasn't bag toned, right? Was that toned from being in a roll or album?

Keleum, this coin is bag toned, most bag toned coins do NOT show textile, which is I believe what you are talking about.

James, here's the tonal partner (an 1887) to the above, at some point I'll see if either Bob or Bruce would like to image it. The two coins go very nicely together, although the coin that Bob posted is semi-prooflike, so there is a bit more pop to the colors.
