    My silver proofs are done !
    Australia II won the America's cup some 25 years ago, so its the Silver Anniversary ! the 10 pieces I sent are now graded..
    I bet that 68 is the one I opened the capsule, strange capsules they were too

    Would be great if it showed the prooflike appearance, however the text in the right page about the coin states well struck throughout, polished dies giving a somewhat prooflike appearance, and only minor scattered contact marks

    I was very pleased to receive the photo proofs today I ordered, pity the coin and its friends got stuck in customs again ! declared amount was under GST limit (they are exempt anyway since I sent them out in the first place!) but they still got stuck ! grr..
    I will have to write to NGC and ask about their shipping forms, there must be something that can be done. Having to go down to pick them up is not fun !
    Beautiful though.. it came from Goldberg pre Long Beach or Long Beach a couple of years back now, the holder was TERRIBLE but I saw through that and picked it up under high estimate. Most lots were selling above high, so felt it would look good reholdered and would have sold better! so paid for these.. now I must hold onto it, I may even have to sell it now after all this !

    10 Australia II 50c coins , a decent one in fancy packaging
    And from eBay, picked up Martha Washington proof AND MS coins, both 70.. now if anyone remembers, when they brought these out the mintage was NOT 20+20 thousand.. it was 40k combined.. and this changed quickly. IMHO not very many MS Washingtons were ever minted ! add to that the recent news of some thousands of early spouse coins got melted, and I had to have the MS coin.
    Also picked up Abigail Adams 70 for my set.. so I am up to date just a couple of upgrades to do if the Louisa hits 70
    Really would like to buy the 1 oz proof gold eagles but import tax would be added. If anyone wants to help me out let me know

    A nice silver proof coin ! I really love these.. so I bought 10..
    My next shipment is going out today. I currently have a lot more stuff coming in, but one of my most significant June buys was 10 of these lovely silver proofs..
    I will post grades when they come. NGC customer service have confirmed they should be able to fit the label.. I think these are going to look great.

    Cmon people, obviously she never had the coin AT ALL and has faked it, report to ebay pronto (as many people as possible should all report it)

    I leave it up to NGC to decide whether to add a slot for the 2005 commemorative - it has a mintage of 7500 in proof, extra points would be warranted for the special label one of first 1000 struck
    1855 should be the most valuable coin in the set ? I was wondering about points, perhaps it would be worth around 200,000 points in MS62 (Uncirculated coin costs around 100k)

    34 covers are still scheduled..
    My other invoice results were only reasonable, was hoping for more 70's but I am getting lazy and not inspecting. I sent two 100yrs Australia's First Coat of Arms and one got 70, one got 69.. I have 6 more of these I might get graded !
    Orbital Sputnik got 69, and the 2008 Gilded Kookaburra got MS69.. I thought this was a proof coin! but nope, Specimen quality.. I may have to send my other two and see what they grade

    New safe !
    Not bad.. checking it for size, looks like another 4x as many slabs again can go in - 20% full ! plus there is a pull out tray at the top.. currently has my 2 multi holders in it
    I do like the NGC coins boxes.. but the door just doesn't quite shut if I try putting the boxes in length ways, and they dont quite fit sideways ! BUGGER..
    Might even swap it for another one, but the stack of NGC holders can hold cheap coins. The rest of the babies are safe away...

    My card AUTH has disappeared.. BUT..
    The ORDER STATUS has now changed. Shows as being PROCESSED !! the cancel box is also removed, so I can't cancel the order (lord knows why I would want to anyway)
    So it looks like I will get my platinum eagle set.. still waiting after about 2 months ! Should be worth the wait

    Sadly, three of mine are coming back PF69 UC
    I sent 5 PF eagles and was pretty confident.. have had better results.. all 5 MS ones are not worth submitting ! have found tiny bagmarks on all of them under magnification
    I also have no Reverse of 2007 and want to pick one up instead so let me know if you have TOO MANY ! (like the previous poster, wow)

    Well they only just arrived but have been entered into the database. Five 2008 PF Silver Eagles. There better be some 70 in there! they all looked good. Last year all 5 graded 70 so hoping for the same.

    Scenario : I bought Platinum Eagles, $1945 USD.. 3 months ago
    Today I am the proud owner of a NGC PF70 set, they graded perfect. The US Mint showed my order as in stock and reserved for over 2 months ! they may have washed out onto the street.
    Meanwhile, the price of platinum went WAY above the price I paid. They still delivered. I love this country ! thankyou US MINT !!

    It's been a long time coming..
    Finally they hit QC earlier today (US time).. the census shows that well over 50% get PF70 for both coins in the set.. fingers crossed!!
    How happy would I be with both 70's ? VERY
    I'm going to be disappointed if they aren't.. my set came 3 months after I ordered, after the tornado problem. Here's hoping mine didn't move, or were recoined from GOOD ENOUGH DIES to give me 70's
    PS grading hasn't been slow. Tier is Modern Special, package RECEIVED 20th, scheduled for grading by Tues and graded 2 days later..
