http://www.oztion.com.au/buy/auctions.aspx?type5=perthpunter
perthpunter on eBay but with their fee structure, no thanks. Oztion is free to list, auto relist is only 1c and I can list for 28 days on auto relist so 1c a month per item.
Its AUD so considering the exchange rate, the $475 AU55 Reserve Bank sovereigns are a fantastic buy, I will ship to the US UK etc for board members only, just let me know where and it will likely be cheap or even free post

And the $1 pad printed LAND series continues, I got 2 of each of these but might get more later (have 4 each of the ocean series)
Rock Wallaby
Echidna
There should be 2 coins to go..

More for me one piedfort proof
2008 UK 4th Olympiad London £2 Piedfort Silver Proof Coin
And a couple of the normal silver proofs

Well I know how to grade moderns, its not hard. If neither is a 70 I may just return them and simply buy a 70 off eBay no longer backordered so they aren't going to fly off the shelves as I thought they might.
If the &*$# mint would go back to 529 USD for proofs they would be sold out IMHO

Received two Ken Done proofs.. these are very small coins so its hard to know how they are going to look.. this one is stunning possibly the best looker of the series. Really surprised me a bit. Am considering slabbing one
Also received these 3 dollar proofs, 1992 1993 1994 all coin fair issues with 5000 released, all big price hikes on their release prices. All had for a bargain too
And last but certainly not least, from the annual "subscription" series, one I've waited a while to get for a fair price. It is well sought after

I hope the rest of you are as impressed by the US Mint's latest creation as I am
I bought two, partly to ensure getting a 70, partly because it is a beautiful design recreated from history and I don't want just ONE !
-
Ken Done has been quite popular over the years, the previous Reg Mombassa is responsible for the very popular "Mambo" brand, and Rolf Harris.. well..
I missed that one and the price went through the roof (1000 mintage too). Ahh silly me, but I'll get one eventually..

2009 $10 Gold Kangaroo Proof Coin
Australian Artist Series - Ken Done
The last of 3 great artists: Rolf Harris, Reg Mombassa, Ken Done
Sold out in 1 hour !! mintage 1500. Internet ordering response crashed the server shortly after ordering became available, and I couldn't get a proper response from the ordering form right up to the last minute ! most orders are probably from phone and mail, but some of us got through

FINALLY received my ROYAL SHIELD OF ARMS Base Metal Proof set.. 25000 I think there was, sold out ! been waiting a couple of months for mine to ship, its number 12,000 or so. They really underestimated the number of orders ?
Also got the silver proof set and BU collections of both old and new. These are some nice lookers ! if only NGC would answer about slabbing the proof sets a-la GSA holders..
-
Four each of these new PNC's !
-
Picked up a couple from the Royal Mint.
2008 Proof Sovereign, 2008 1/4oz Gold Proof Britannia

My latest is the Royal Shield of Arms silver proof set
Got a letter today from the mint saying demand is huge ! no word from NGC whether they will slab these, so hopefully they are looking into it !
-
Perth Mint coin is a definite winner !! I was told they are SOLD OUT AT THE MINT they are turning people away !! That may be for only walk-in orders, internet ordering is still online
-
Looks nice !!

Welcome ! instantly thought of you
I love the quote on the Perth Mint site !
To say that Australians celebrated after winning the 1983 America’s Cup is something of an understatement. As Time Magazine reported after Australia II’s victory, “the land Down Under had not witnessed such an orgy of jubilation since V-J day ended the war in the Pacific.”
I remember this so well.. I was at school the next day and excitement is not the word. The Prime Minister at the time Bob Hawke said on National TV "any boss who fires a bloke for not showing up for work today is a MUG"
-
Probably the most significant event in modern boating history !??
I love the coin, I'm thinking of buying more. 100% sure this will sell out, and go up.
-
Jackson, are you going to buy this one I just bought THREE
Act fast if so Perth Mint or Downies
-
Something from the Royal Australian Mint I quite like ! in 2007 it was the Ocean series of PAD PRINTED coins.. dolphin, starfish etc which are great, might slab some !
This year its the LAND series..

Nice one !!
1902 1/2 Sov PF62 Matte
And here's the better images of the 1888M Jubilee, a little baggy as is usual for the type, but nice and bright..
-
I agree
For a while the images were awesome.. then they became slap on a scanner jobs.
Those look a bit better..

This mule set is my 2nd.. the entire pop of mules at NGC are submitted by me (one at 55 for someone else, rest are mine at 55 55 55 63, only its not UNC. Great mule though, as is one of the 55's, the one in my first 3 coin set)

Received the first Jacksons Liberty today, amazing looking coin but some tiny spots in the frosted finish under magnification. No 70 fingers crossed on the next one
Let me rephrase. AMAZING looking coin. The mints image gives a good account but seeing one for real is much nicer
