Perth Mint shows the colour tiger "unavailable online" meaning there is still some amount of stock left assigned to Mint Shop, Phone, Fax, and mail orders.
I'll probably be getting one soon for you. Will PM you when I get a confirmation yay or nay
-
yarm,
The colour one actually sold just as fast if not quicker than the other 2 types (gilt, proof). Gilt is still available online. Proof is sold out.
You can see why ! the colour tiger looks stunning.
I might be able to hook you up, can't promise anything but will see what I can do to order you one through a dealer friend. Cheaper cost through a dealer so would end up about the same as you would have paid anyway (since you wouldn't pay GST like us poor saps)
My new Royal Australian Mint purchases:
100th Anniversary of Australian coinage 1910-2010 - PROOF
I also have the UNC version from the RAM visitors gallery through a friend. I think there will be mint issued S M B C versions for Sydney Melbourne Brisbane Canberra, as there is every year for the yearly coin
50c Australia Day UNC in rolls.
Proof selectively gold plated version

Damn nice !! that is way cool. Thats a real low mintage !
Is there haze on there ? if so send it to NCS ! if you are unsure, send it to NCS ! the evaluation fee would be worth them looking at it surely ? if there is anything like haze that is..
-
Congrats then ! A great coin ! love those fancy reverses.. looks similar to 8 escudos ? maybe even some 4 escudo coins. Very nice.
-
I have made other purchases, but this one recently is very nice.. since I am a Tiger, I got the type set collection which includes a bullion 1oz tiger, proof, colour, and gilded. Here are the latter 3..
And this is how it looks..
Beautiful !! one proud tiger here..
-
1 oz only now, as in 2006 and 2007. The fractions from 2008 are very expensive when they stopped producing them and they became a once off. And low mintage !
-
I got one too, and now I'm hooked ! will be picking up the previous coins now
-
Recentl lovelies so I can complete a circulated half sovereign type set. Only a type 1 1856 in F or gF, perhaps even aVF (aussie graded) to go.
Be sure to enter my guess the grade giveaway in the other forum !

PCGS sov wasn't nice when it came back PVC contamination. Glad I didn't crack it. Kool aid drinker can have it..
As for 70, Mark put it best. Sometimes the standard is different. For the Ultra High Relief, NGC is the stricter of the two..

And this
I think I'm gonna build a light tent for my setup..

Hey all, some nice buys there !
Finally here is the rattler, my first and only Morgan purchase. A nice 64 with peripheral gold on both sides
-
BE QUICK ! this wasn't listed for sale just a couple of days ago, I check regularly..
9000 of 12,500 minted already, suggesting the usual heavy rush to get these. My guess, they will be sold out in a week or less

My previous posting is doing really well on eBay.. gotta love it ! Over double mint price.. so even if you don't like the design, it was a good buy.
-
My turn !
The latest in the Royal Australian Mint $10 Gold proof Kangaroo series. As always, a fast sellout at 1500 mintage and 2 per customer.
This one is the Yellow Footed Rock Wallaby, from the semi arid regions of NSW

Damn those are some nice large cents, well done !
-
No idea, but it seems obvious the worn one only available worn is the rare piece
66 when a coin is rare.. nope.. the beaver for me

-

The colour and portrait/s are from the first decimal currency. Hence "figures" of note..
$1 $2 $5 $10 $20 notes left to right
Brown, Green, Purple, Blue, Red
The queen was alone on the $1
-
Who said they won't multi holder these babies ! it turns out they will.. 5 x 40.60mm
Okay I got these in 2006, but they are NEWly presented..
-
Another commem from Heritage, glad I got this one.
-
Just confirmed purchase of another $1 for my error/oddities set (see journals or check out the set below)
-
I'll be picking up a heap of the new ones on release, and might even get some of the best ones slabbed
Remaining in the series are GOLD and PEARLS
The last should be a beauty like the first.
