Nothing wrong with an NGC 2.0 for that price... (thumbs u
Wow that 1921-D is amazing
-
I have made a few mistakes in shipping on ebay before and always made everyone whole for their time and shipping expenses and yes I used the, it was my wifes fault too
-
Super toning on that walker....
-
Looks like a 65 from what I can see which means the spread could be ms64 to MS66 but again...my eyeballs see at least a 65
-
AT...I don't care what PCGS says.....note: an offer will be forthcoming via PM
-
I was just going to jump into this thread today and wine about not having any recent purchases...at least no purchases for my collection but plenty for my part times sales on Ebay and then low and behold I saw this beauty and jumped on it as fast as I could
I used to see nicely toned merc dimes all the time for quite reasonable prices and now that I own none.....I don't see colorful examples and when I do they are priced higher than gold bullion
1945-S PCGS MS65
I think this one is boardline FB so I might send it back in
Dang pictures I linked disappeared...rats!!!!

It looks like it to me as well

Many years ago, I had one of these, and it was sold
inadvertantly along with a group of other things I no
longer wanted. This coin is a "dead ringer" for the
coin I sold:
Super original coin....I like it!!!!
-
You should have grabbed the matching obverse toned piece Lee (thumbs u

My Mom's Birthyear:
newp from the B&M auction today:
PCGS MS 64 BN
Super error...I really like that coin due to the toning and well......I believe the coin is slightly off center

I like that toned Morgan...congrats!!!
-
Coin + superman....can it get any better
Coming from you I figured the comment would be something like.
The only way it could be better is if it had some sweet toning.
Your right...what the heck was a thinking...a little red yellow and blue toning...now that would be heaven

Coin + superman....can it get any better

Nice Shane, here's my newp from you. I can't match your photo. Was it out of holder?
Yes it was raw and straight out of the mint set when I imaged it. I expected that submission to come back in the new edgeview so folks could image the coins better but they sent all 26 coins back in the old holders so I was none to happy.

Thomas Cork was a dealer who amassed quite a collection of colorful Morgans. Many years ago he approached PCGS and NGC about slabbing the coins with his pedigree and they politely declined so he worked out a deal with PCI and the rest is history. There are some monster coins floating around in PCGS/NGC holders that used to reside in these T.Cork PCI's including the TCCS icon coin that Ron Sirna bought many years ago.
I am probably one of only a handful of collectors even know about this guy let alone would pay a premium for a coin in a PCI holder with the pedigree but I was happy to find it as this is only the 2nd I have found on Ebay in 5 years. I was high bidder on the other one but the seller told me he had aleady sold it at a show so he never shipped it even though I paid etc.
-
My 5 year drought is over and I was finally able to get my hands on a T.Cork
This appears to be an undiscovered Vam so I will most likely be sending this one off to Leroy Van Allen

I don't know much about Fugios although I've admired them when I've seen them. When were the restrikes struck?
I think most people believe they were stuck in the 1860's if my memory is correct?
Here is a link to some info....
-
That's the sharpest fugio I've seen. Is there a grade on that? Either way, very nice (thumbs u
PCGS AU55. I got outbid on the MS62 @ the B&M auction ... that I happened to have sold to the owners of the Julianna Rose collection a couple of years ago. This one I just picked up on ebay ...
BTW - it is only a New Haven Restrike ...
I used to own a 63RB in PCGS OGH......loved that coin. For those that don't know how to tell the difference right off the bat....the rings on the reverse are much thinner than on the normal fugio's (thumbs u
You use my image of the obverse as your avatar across the street
-
wazat?? EOR creation?
Yes end roller for sure......crazy neon yellow in the center and their are rainbow colors mixed in with the black and the toning pattern was so interested I just had to have it. it will be on the way to NGC with my next submission (thumbs u
