    Thanks for the reply Powerman5000. I saw him in concert several years ago. With LimpBisket and Primus. Crazy night. I decided to keep this coin as I am a collector and not really a seller.

    The eBay Issue link is EXACTLY what I think will happen. I took the coin down. I'm just gonna keep it in my collection. Nice story for it, though.

    Ok, thanks for that insight. It's funny that someone would offer $3000 as the same graded coin goes around 1200 to 1600 on eBay. It just makes me think I (or NGC) am missing a grade variety. Also, the buyer has had no feedback within the last year.     Hello all. I had this coin graded, as you can see. I paid the standard fee—$ 40 for coins up to $3000. NGC value guide is $1000. I have it on eBay, and someone offered $3000 for it. It makes me think if I paid for a higher tier (effort?), the coin would have fetched a Deep cameo or something to make the $3000 offer valid. Newbie here for sure. Lets say the coin IS worth more than $1000 (NGC price guide). Would NGC tell me and then charge me for a higher tier??????????????????

    Right on. Having them take it out and regrade it is what I knew they would do. So, what are we saying about the GSA sticker and the First Strike statement? NGC's price shows the first strike or day of release as a variety. Also, the 2015 has a wide/narrow reed thing to it. So it could still be graded as a variety? ANACS would/could/should have the CoA to show it is #069 of 700? https://www.ngccoin.com/price-guide/united-states/american-eagles-and-bullion-coins/189/varieties/711086/ It sounds like I should keep it the way it is.
