    @robec1347 I found you on here as well! So not only on Coin Talk!

    But check out @FriendlyEagle79 lens hood that is modded to be an axial lighting setup! That is wild and so creative! Robec is a great photographer. 

    @Revenant do you have any posts or journal entries that show your current Ring-Light Setup? I'm sure I could do a simple Google search and find it relatively easy, but I like to see people's homemade setups!

    Thank you all for the input and the comments and advice. I love all the Numismatic communities so much.

    Now I need to work with my different lenses and see what works best for my setup. I have a 0.43x Wide Angle Lens with Macro 58mm, it's a little screw on lens that attaches to other lenses. I also have four other little lens caps if you will? They're 1x, 2x, 4x and a 10x. So, I got my work cut out ahead of me. That also means finding lighting, either utilizing the axial lighting or finding other types of lighting which both may be best. Then working on camera settings. I don't want to just use the Auto Mode, or the Macro Setting. I was suggested to pick up a book by I believe his name was Mark Goodman possibly. Either way this is the start of my journey and glad to have some people in my corner.

    I do see the possible MD too its just too close to tell. :S  So yes, we wait for a reply from James which he's usually really fast to respond.     I'm new when it comes to the forum, any forum for that matter. So upon finding this I've learned a significant piece of knowledge just in this ONE Journal Entry. :idea:

    1. I should be keeping copies of EVERYTHING! (Not just coin related things but all things) This will help keep me organized. (I hope):roflmao:
    2. I need to write my own Journal Entries because my wife's tired of hearing me already :gossip: + we're all hobbyists of the same here. :cool:

    So for now it's time for me to hit the hay myself but I'm going to push myself to make a FIRST Journal Entry (Hopefully a start of MANY). Until then, thank's for sharing!

    So @Coinbuf I feel as we may have got off on the wrong foot since my first and only post so far about the 2005-P Nickel and I'm really not a hard headed stubborn guy as you may think. But as you may have seen I've done some research, profile stalking if you may, and I really am eager to learn the hobby and am always seeking more knowledge. Especially in this. I'm loving the photo journal entries as I am still learning everything this forum has to offer. I love photos of coins as I can really only use my scope and phone which is a iPhone 13 Pro.
