  1. Thanks. I’ve done what I can and the weights are all correct and the metal is genuine. I’ve looked closely at the edges and don’t see any of the tell tail signs but at this point I need to get a professional to that a look. I have started to write to some of the dealers in the area as well. I appreciate all the advise.
  2. I have a number of ancient silver and gold coins. I am trying to find somewhere to take them for an expert appraisal/opinion. I am planning on attending the up coming coin show in Long Beach Ca. next month. Can anyone recommend someone I can take them to? Photos attached of some of these coins.
  3. posted on counterfeit forum as well. Apologies if you read this twice. I have a number of coins from my families collection. I am not a collector but would like to know about them. My first question is authenticity. How can one tell if it is real? What am I looking for on this example? I am limited to the number of photos I can post but if it would help I can try and post more on specific areas to look at. Any help is deeply appreciated. weight: 16.42 grams diameter: 33 mm
  4. Thanks so much for your reply. I’ll see if I can add the tags you suggest. cheers
