Bob you got ripped on the grade on the 29. It's an easy 64. ND coming strong with those mpl's!
It was already graded when I bought it. I'm not sure if I will have it regraded or not.
The price difference between 62BN and 64BN isn't that great, but this coin does have more eye appeal than a run of the mill 64BN. At least in my opinion.

Nice!! (thumbs u

Love that 1929 CT. Sure does look similar.

Beautiful MPL's!!
I've seen the 1909 somewhere before, but can't remember where. Great entrance!!
BTW. Love your set #1.

For a low MS grade this one has a ton of luster.

I really enjoy the PF cents that WL and Bob show off. I bet it is a fun way to collect and apparently very affordable.
It is fun to find to find colorful proofs. They are, for the most part, very affordable, especially when comparing them to MPL's.
It's like any other series though, prices are up and down. Certain auctions command higher prices simply because of more traffic. The real trick is to find them before they get there.

Gimme, gimme!!

I would love to find one like that. The smoothness of that cent combined with the die crack on the reverse is just amazing!I can't get over how clean the fields are. The devices aren't bad either.

Gorgeous!!!

+1 on that. (thumbs u

I love those Randall Hoard Large Cents. That's a beauty Catbert.

Bob your eye for copper and your ability to image them perfectly never fails to keep me coming back to see your latest! (thumbs u
Best, HT
Thank you HT. That is such a nice thing to say. You humble me!
Catbert that is a gorgeous Large Cent. One like that would be a great fit for my Type Set.

Bob, that says BN but it's obviously RG, Red and Green!
RGB to be more precise.
I'll have to get it out and look at it. I don't remember the obverse being as red as the photo shows.
I know it isn't as dark as Copper toning's 1912's or the 1928.

I all the years that I have collected lincolns, I have never seen a brown any higher than a 65. I have a couple now and had several more in the past. That's not to say they don't exhist
I assume you are referring to non proof Lincoln's. There are proof 66BNs around.
Here is a PCGS MS66BN

This was an ICG MS65BN.

Wowsers Ankur, those are phenomenal!!
I'll take the 1793.

Dang Bob, you know those SMS'ers are my achilles! That color is outstanding, you rarely see an SMS toned this nicely. I have a quarter that I need to send you one day! It's a 67 as well, not near as nice as this one but gorgeous and cameo!
That's the best SMS Roosevelt I have found Sam. The mirrors are crazy good with great color.
I bought it from one of BNB's auctions. He has found some great items. He has them listed a bit high, but is very willing to deal.
I would love to see quarter. I have a couple of nicely toned examples, but neither have good mirrors.
-
I'll pick the Roosevelt.

Don't need a video for the 1917. The photo is outrageous. Beautiful Lincoln!!
Oh, and you don't need to send it to NGC.......you can just send it to me.
If you can submit the coin for me maybe I can get it certified and get professional images at the same time???
I would love to do both, but I love the photos you have. That would be a tough photo to beat.
That's probably the nicest looking 1917 I've seen. That would look great in a 66BN slab, if not higher.

Nice Larry!! Those darn slabs can sure be a problem. (thumbs u

Bob, that is a superb IHC Proof! I like it!
Thanks Justin. The coin is part of Toneddollars' "Pretty Pennies" Registry set.
He has a multitude of fabulously toned Indian Proofs. I will probably post several of them in this thread over time.

Yes, that is a great looking 1912. 1912 was a tough year in respect to colorful toners, but the ones that do exist are second to none in eye appeal.
I was the proud owner of the 1912 in your #2 set for about a year. It became the victim of the upgrade bug. I still think it looks as nice as any 66BN I've seen.
Here is one that was too tough to pass up.
