Code 94 is Altered Surfaces.
There isn't one hairline from a cleaning on the coin.
When I was 14, I thought the tarnish was not too nice;
I made a very mild slurry of baking soda and water &
just dipped the coin in the Palm of my hand and used
my finger to move the solution over the coin.
Little did I realize (at the time ) I had ruined the originality
of the coin. It's still a great looking coin. In hindsight, I should
of never touched it.
I did the same thing with my Lincoln cents when I was 14. Wouldn't it be nice to go back in time?

Great looking VDB. One of the best toned woodgrain Lincoln's I've seen.

Both Barbers are beautiful Mike and Larry.

Thanks Sy and Irvin. The coin belongs.........or belonged to Toneddollars. I think he has sold most, if not all, his Indian's. Luckily I still have all the photos.

I like the anacs coin. What holder is it in?
It's in one of the newer holders. I doubt either PCGS or NGC would give it a 66. For $7 I can't complain, it has the color I love.
Why is it I see so many 56's with color?
I think it was because of the cardboard that held the mint sets. 1957's and 1958's are the same way, if not more so.

Couple of cheapies from Great Collections.

A couple of new Lincoln toners, one barely, but shows some subtle green.
I don't even mind the finger print.
