    So I sent in a small submission to NGC including this coin. I did well with the others but this one came back as “ILLEGIBLE DATE” and not slabbed. Now, anyone with a little knowledge of Buffalo Nickels would be able to determine that this is the 1916 DDO. Even without the date the doubling of the feathers and ribbons give it away. I’m sure they have slabbed their fair share of 1916 SLQ without a date based on the other characteristics, so why not this one? Am I wrong?Also, I refuse to nic-a-date it.

    Than the wording should be changed to reflect that turnaround time does not start once NGC receives the package but to when the items are logged into the system.

    My understanding is that turnaround times start once NGC receives the package. Mine was delivered on 7/31 and I requested Standard grading tier which according to your sight states 10 days. As of today my submission is still not showing up as accepted. Just checking to make sure that I’m not wasting my money thinking that I would have my coins graded in a timely manner.
