  1. Not sure about the tripling part but I do know that back in the day there were two things I learned never to do 1. Drive 2. search for DD coins if I was hanging out with my old buddy, GLENlivet. I agree with the not DD verdict.
  2. Thought I would share this LWC for the sake of education. This is Extreme worthless MD (machine doubling) with a worthless die chip in the 9 of 19.
  3. With what Coinbuff has said here, you already have pictures, just go in to Coneca.org, select forums from the home page, in forums go to die variety forum and post. It s really no more than you have done here but if they agree with your points of interest and the photos are sufficient they will describe the path to attribution in the Coneca Services. Be patient it takes time because they are all volunteers and of course the usual error hunting crowds. with that said I believe you will hear similar to RJO’s response.
  4. Might I suggest you also try (CONECA) Conecaonline.org. . There are many there sharing the error coin world.
  5. They better do it now before there is no need for them, they could cash in for melt value after the fact and the only circulation would have to be between die hard collectors, there won’t be a cent bowl by the cash register at the pub……?
  6. “He who steals my purse steals trash”, but if I offer up to the beggar an open hand of my change and suggest, take what you need, they always snatch the subliminal silver first. if it were not for taxes and interest rates calculated similar to the decimal places of pi there would be no need for a coin equivalent to cover the possible round up or down to 1% of a dollar that in accumulation covers all debt and calculations of growth/wealth. Merchants/venders would be more than happy to oblige the rounding up to compensate.(inflate)
  7. You should develop an app for this, I have seen many confused souls looking for this answer. You have made it have class.
  8. It’s in a 1960 mint set, hard type holder. The clear covers are pretty thick.
  9. This has came up too many times, I find it to be much more personable than heirship. i collect a coin because of the art, the history, the detail. when I am done looken at ‘em, they will find their own life or grave, and with that, nothing else matters. my compliments to Metallica and the SanFrancisco Phil harmonic Orchestra for making this perfectly clear.
  10. Do you know the name of the artist/designer of this coin?
  11. This one was picked before the S fully developed? Unlike the previous coin where the S was developed, but just not quite ripe.
