im working on my kennedy set right now. i think its ranked at number 45 Kennedy Half Dollars, 1964-Date, Proof Issue (Incl. Varieties) this is my set

i just started a few years ago. im not sure if ive done any good as far as collecting. im sure ive waisted plenty of money on things of no value. i bought a collection from a estate awhile back, probably gave way to much for it. this is some of it i haven't went through everything yet. i just bought those the other day, i haven't seen any this nice at all. 1965,66,and67

those marks you are seeing on the coin are die marks. maybe where they touched up the die from striking or maybe those marks are from a brand new die pair never the less. NGC is the most pickiest grading company out their and if the two or three people that grade these coins thought for a second it was cleaned it would not even be in this holder.. it wouldn't even have a grade.

thank you for the picture Simple Collector. i like the way it looks and wont change one thing about it. it matches my 48-p ddr fbl, my 49-p fbl and my 52-p fbl all 66 if i remember correctly. ive been working on building a fairly nice set and this one came about. thanks again for the picture. boy every time i look at that specimen its perfect the way it is...

well i wish i would have tested the waters before i threw that question out their.. and apparently dont say cleaned in a sentence.. i really wish they NGC would have taken a picture of the coin while they had it. maybe it was graded back in the day but i dont know feel free to look the coin up ive been searching for pictures of it. i did email them and got the slab number. number as follows 6529202-005 i can do that i added it to my set already without pictures..

what is it with this site im starting to think there is a ton of rude people.... i think instead of treating people in this manner it would go alot better and farther if people help someone ..... and i did post ncs to do their work if using chemicals to conserve a coin isnt cleaning them that wow.. i would never do it but i thought i would ask the community if they would.. it's one of three in the world so why would i ever destroy a piece of history

question of the day. If you was to buy this coin would you send it of and get it ncs cleaned or would you keep the piece the way it is? To answer the question yes i own it. i just bought it its 1 of only 3 for top pop

here i've been trying to find someone that knows these coins..i've had this for around ten years. i was tearing a house down on a ranch that was founded in 1847 it was the first ranch in Texas to have barb wire anyways i was told the obverse is BB-52 and they used a BB-51 on the reverse if anyone could shine some light on it i would appreciate it.btw it was in a jar with alot of 1840's and other 1800 coins so no it wasn't just this coin. i have inspected the reed letterings and they are sharp straight down and not on any angle.

I’ll stick to my off shore boats. At least you know weather you win or loose. Theirs no chasing your tail for no reasons. It’s just beyond reason why one counts and one don’t their both the exact same. All what the h. It’s not worth it. At least I know I own one and sometime later in life their will be new people at those places or some new grading company will open. Good thing about life is it always changes. They all have seen the twenty or thirty pictures of the specimen so. I’ll leave the coins alone for awhile again and do my boats.

To me this coin 1964 sms is nothing but a joke. Do those people got proof that their coins did not come from a mint set the first few off the line. Of course they came off the production line. Their coins are no different then anyone’s they were packaged just like every other person’s coins. Those jokes of coins are the same exact coin I physically own and their is no difference in their coins. The only thing that makes those coins worth anything is Eva Adams got them from the mint. Took them cause they were the first few strikes off the same exact dies that struck the coin I own. They were never test strikes for 1965 coins. They were nothing but first strikes of Kennedy’s new coin with accent hai removed. The coins are a joke in every aspect. Owning one of them and watching grading companies play favorites is a joke as well. Telling a person there is too many dies really those coins were struck using one die. What it comes down to is money. If more are to be proven then the sales of those coins would be a laughing joke and a loss of six figures. Well news flash their is more of them. Those dies used are just like finger prints and well theirs only one set of finger prints per coin. I’ve had their NGC and Pgcs coins mapped and the coin I own is a exact match does it matter NOPE does one person care nope. So the hunt part of this hobby is a joke. The hunt is a fraud. So when you get turned down like I have it’s a joke. What is it worth doing the hunt when there’s no reward for your hunt. It’s turned into money. So I’ll just buy coins already slabbed and forget the hunt part or I’ll spend my money on another dozer or another off shore boat like this one I have
