  1. Don't you know every "Coin" the OP posts is either "Matte proof" or a mint error of some kind? I still say the OP is RichieRich2020 but using a different username.
  2. I was looking through old threads and the OP seems to be similar to a former user called RichieRich2020.
  3. At least I answered one question correctly about the 1921 (P) "Matte" proof Peace Dollar. Oh NO I'm slowly learning about coins on a coin collecting site DAMN IT.
  4. Makes me wonder just how many "Newbie" coin collectors are just counterfeiters trying to get the "Inside scoop" from legitimate coin collectors to make their counterfeits seem as genuine as possible posting questions.
  5. I don't recall there ever being any "Matte" proofs in the entire Peace Dollar series. I believe what you have is either a counterfeit or altered 1921 (P) Peace Dollar. The same goes for the 1922 (P) "Matte" proof Peace Dollar from your previous post. Compare both of your coins to my genuine NGC graded MS 64 1923 (P) Peace Dollar that I attached to your previous post as a reference.
  6. If I were you I'd post this question in the newbie section of this site for maximum coverage by more experienced coin collectors. Having said that the coin in question doesn't look right to me based solely my NGC graded 1923 MS 64 Peace Dollar.
  7. I agree with you there. If the OP is new to the hobby then the OP SHOULD have bought a pre graded NGC or PCGS version of the coin in question to avoid this kind of a situation. Anyway this is just my two cents on the subject.
  8. When the time comes isn't it possible that NCS will be able to remove the very small milk spot without damaging my coin?
  9. I hope the market dries up on you and that the mods ban you from this site. Have a nice day.
  10. I guess that I'm "Clown" number 3 at least to the OP . The problem is I backed up everything I said with FACTS including telling the OP that there are three distinctly different versions of the ASE all with different mintage numbers just to prove that the OP's statement regarding "10's of millions minted" is NOT an accurate statement. I just wonder if the OP is the dean of clown school. Anyway at the end of the day only the truly ignorant have a closed mind.
  11. A couple of my NGC MS70 burnished ASE's also have a small (bearly noticable) "Milk spot". If I'm understanding everything correctly most if not all modern silver coinage will eventually develop these spots due to the minting process.
  12. You'll "Make bank" until the market dries up then you'll get stuck with "Inventory" and take just a "Best offer" to unload it. I've taken advantage of sellers like you many times due to my patience when it comes to coin collecting.
  13. Go to bullionprices.com and you'll see that there's three distinct versions of ASE's with different mintage numbers each year.
  14. Btw your numbers are only for the bullion version of the ASE the burnished version (which is what I collect) has NEVER had more than 755,000 minted in any year.
  15. What little I have? Now that's laughable considering my total net worth is $18.5 million with most of that in real estate among other investments I've made in a 20 year time frame. However, this is not a finance forum. Instead of wasting money getting these coins graded you'd be better off buying a short term high yield bond or a "I" series US savings bond and differ the taxes until you decide to cash it in.
  16. When the price crashes and you get burned don't come on these message boards and cry about it expecting sympathy from everybody since you were warned.
  17. When the price crashes you'll be stuck holding the bag and more than likely be "Forced" into accepting a best offer. At least our more esteemed members and a newbie (me) tried our very best to warn you as what can and will happen.
  18. Vendetta, here's a true story for you: In 2021 there was a ton of hype surrounding the "Type 2" ASE in NGC MS70 as well as PCGS MS70 that drove the price of all versions (bullion, proof and burnished) to $250.00 - $450.00 each. At that time most people bought that hype and here we are a meager two years later and the price of all versions of "Type 2" ASE's has declined sharply even in those grades. The bottom line / moral of this story is NEVER EVER buy into ANY hype of ANY given coin. Due to the sharp price decline those people got hosed and are more apted to accepting a best offer to help recoup their loss these days.
  19. I can find all the key dates ungraded for a reasonable price then at a later time get them graded.
  20. I plan on doing a whole Peace Dollar set in that grade.
  21. I do own a NGC MS64 1923 Peace Dollar. I only collect fine works of art by old masters as I don't like modern works of art.
