  1. It would have been nice if the 2021s were the same size as the original even if more weight but neither 90% or same size makes for an off sized coin for a display of 19s to 20s display...although the existence thus year seems to be boosting morgans and peace which is not bad as an owner although my last date to collect '1927' has jumped by $300 ..still thankful i have 9 already and just 1 to get.
  2. Are you going to get yours graded?, it will feel good to see what its like after restoration...it doesn't seem to be as grainy as dollarfans so an earlier second day...it does have a nice brow hair line especially compared to my other 65s but they are ofcourse not high relief being 22 through 35.
  3. This is my 1921 ms65+ presently caught in the NGC limbo for restoration and regrade, had a broken slab corner, not loose but i wanted perfection hence the resto and regrade.
  4. Ncs conservation turnaround 20 days plus early bird grading 12 days, equals 32 days, excuse, pitiful 'its being reviewed' and has been for one and a half months.......state where in the time line or fees and tiers it states more thenna month of sitting around doing nothing?
  5. Even had its code removed in the registry which means its been cracked open and gas been that way for a long time so its open to the elements while some decides if they want to do anything with it...thats terrible for any business let alone what should be the business leader.
  6. The dealer called gc today and 'apparently' they haven't even begun as they are 'reviewing whether to restore'.....so over 30 working days and haveyet to do anything even though the restoration is 20 days max which passed two weeks ago and as it was sent early bird or something I should have had it back by now and yet here we are....im seriously thinking of moving to PCGS if this is the quality of NGC work right now....been opened since March 17th and not done anything whatsoever.
  7. Lisa, I emailed you the submission number showing you the March 17 opening day.
  8. The coin was submitted by a local dealer so I don't want to give up that dealers identity.
  9. 31 working days and counting...is this a new record?.
  10. And finding a business with a toilet is a nightmare, the traffic to get to p town is a nightmare..lol.
  11. I'm at 30 business days and counting, my lcs called today got the same boiler plate reply...its in for grading...but considering ngc messed up an AGE gold 33 anniversary set giving the 33 anniversary label to a 2019 set im not hopeful.
  12. Its the first time I've seen an estimated date on the ncs on ngc website...I've had my coin in NCS now since March 17th when it was recorded so opened.
  13. The first coin i found metal detecting was besidemy own driveway amongst hot rocks and took 3 days to uncrustbenough to make it out, was a toasty 1914 d penny.....yes its u likely but it does happen...was offerred $100 for it...but I mean toasty is being kind.
  14. I just read a conservation time now on the British ngc of 45 days, is that real?
  15. Looks beautiful...almost like it never touched another coin in its life...but agreeing with others the shine seems a little light but I'm a complete newbie so pardon my ignorance.
  16. Pardon the input but was this conserved?, I have recently sent in a 21 65+ for conserve and regrade and when it arrives back some time next year...jk...ill post the pics but this seems ultra clean compared to the few 65 plus I've seen.
  17. I had a dealer friend send my coin in for conservation and regrade and the registry shows the deleted coin code which seems to mean it had its old slab removed but this was over a month ago and he called NGC yesterday and was told the coin hadn't been received for grading yet...the coin was not a shipwreck coin so not a major disaster to need a lot of conservation so why more then a month to even get through NCS?.
