2020 W V75 Eagle UNDERGRADED
Mr.Bill347 replied to Edward Plato's topic in Newbie Coin Collecting Questions
They need to somehow simplify their submission forms. It’s like tax forms. They make the determination anyway. Seems like it’s just a way to inflate grading prices. I know my comment may not be popular and I can only guess how difficult a job this must be. Example walk through, standard, premium, economy etc. and you have to guess on the quality and estimated amount. Nonetheless, I trust NGC to make the right call. -
2020 W V75 Eagle UNDERGRADED
Mr.Bill347 replied to Edward Plato's topic in Newbie Coin Collecting Questions
Sorry but don’t fret too much. Having a p69 w privy eagle is great and worth way more than you paid for it. I took a load of Eagle Proofs to a dealer and he told me 90% of proof coins don’t make p70. If you don’t want it, I’ll buy it off of you for $70. -
Watch out buyers! Scammers are prowling!
Mr.Bill347 replied to Mr.Bill347's topic in Newbie Coin Collecting Questions
Just to add. That really was the coin I sent in. The label actually had the correct date it does state 1895, but no matter it’s fake anyway. It was a beautiful coin. Weight and diameter was off. Here is the way I got it back from NGC -

Thank u. Just pointing it out because I was had by a scam Morgan sent it in to NGC and they determined it was phony. I slabbed it myself in a spare slab to remind myself to be more cautious. Thank u for your comments. -

No sir, I slabbed it in a generic slab. I sent the coin by itself to grading and they determined it was counterfeit. So the photo is for my bad experience only.. A reminder to me to verify the seller and weigh and measure any coin. -

I have been unable to find any representation of this medal on google images, or ebay or NGC. Reverse translates to " to commemorate the celebration of the silver wedding 1881-1906" medal appears to be bronze in excellent condition but I have no idea if I should get it graded by NGC or not. Grandmother immigrated from Germany in 1906. Although this medal was a common commemortive, if it is so common, why can't I find one anywhere? One similar on EBAY but different reverse and Auguste Victoria has a crown on the EBAY coin (last Picture) seller asking $50 but nowhere as nice.

It’s already graded so you know it real relabeling it probably wouldn’t change the value much would it? -

Very unusual 2008 P Oklahoma quarter
Mr.Bill347 replied to Mr.Bill347's topic in Newbie Coin Collecting Questions
Thank you! -
I received this coin in some cash register change today. Very unusual finish. Dark colored grey/brown, somewhat pitted surface, no evidence of layering on edge like most clad coins. Wondering about incorrect planchette, or experimental finish treatment as there seems to be no nickel plating. Just inquiring mind not being at it too long. Picture compares finish to conventional clad quarter and the edge.
