  1. I have an MS70 1943 Copper Cent that looks like a shoe.
  2. No misunderstanding. I was being a smartass.
  3. Congratulations on the $165,000.00 USD that you realized on the sale of your coin. Well worth the cost of the attribution.
  4. Nowhere did I say to ignore a question. Simply give them guidance with the websites provided throughout this forum to lead them into an understanding of what could have been a possible cause for the issue that they are asking about. It is a massive disservice to the hobby to just answer a question and be done with the uninformed person rather than help them develop an interest in the hobby by beginning to learn about aspects of the hobby and the processes involved with minting coins. Bringing them into the hobby by giving guidance is much more likely to happen than just throwing an answer at them as the walk out of the door never to be seen again.
  5. Exactly why this should be done. A few minutes of online research will begin the building of their knowledge base either by learning the processes involved or finding existing threads covering the same issues. The reference websites needed to answer most questions are listed throughout the forums.
  6. Simply stop answering questions until each OP gives a detailed explanation of how the "error" or "variety" could have occurred during the minting process. Post another pinned post that will not be read requiring this be done before a question is answered and stick to the policy.
  7. He is not a new member. Read his other threads.
  8. Incorrect. That went out the window after your first post..................................................................................
  9. Judging by your posts on the forum, you lack the mental capabilities needed to understand the above post.
  10. Seriously, the best course for the op to take here is to find an extremely wealthy coin collector who is currently being held in the most heavily guarded section of his local insane asylum and sell all of his amazing coins to that guy. He will walk out of that asylum a very wealthy man.
  11. Tried to align photos as usual but system keeps putting them in a jumble this time???
  12. Because this content is leading to a transition to the coin topic where it is revealed that some dryer coins may actually be coins that were glued to the outside of the Enterprise where travel at warp speeds caused excessive wear resembling dryer coin damage though they are actually warp coins not dryer coins. Be patient please
  13. THE FOLLOWING POST IS STRICTLY TO ANTAGONIZE THE THREAD COMBATANTS CURRENTLY COMBATTING IN THIS THREAD............ The Enterprise did not travel in straight line normal space to achieve faster than light travel. They used a space warp developed by Effrom Cochrane (episode Metamorphosis) to cheat space and move from one place to another in a time frame that put them in place "faster than light speed" while not having to travel in normal space at speeds faster than the speed of light.................. PS: I never used the word "combatting" before.
  14. I will not admit that warp speed does not exist since Gene Roddenberry says that it does. I will however concede that the Vulcan Neck Pinch is bullcrap. As with most children born in 1965 as I was, I spent a year or so while in single digits trying to perfect the Vulcan neck pinch only to discover that it is a scam. I did find however that the Vulcan Groin Kick is an effective weapon against both terrestrial and extraterrestrial beings.
  15. Looks like a chemical stain caused when a rubber band is around the box or envelope that the coin was stored in.
  16. Gene Roddenberry exists which proves that warp speed exists. Stop resisting......................................................
  17. No debate. Simply stating proven facts Stay away from that youtube................
  18. That Warp Speed Calculator must have come from youtube In the episode "That Which Survives" the Enterprise was thrown 990.7 light years from their location. In less than twenty-fours hours they were back where they started from. Maximum sustained speed of the Enterprise is warp 8.0. You have been pulled from reality world and led astray
  19. Has NGC started attributing pareidolia???
  20. Try a dime and a dollar next time. Be careful though. Do not mash your finger๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
