  1. No, I just felt my possible theory was taken lightly, so i posted this to calm down the children
  2. Could it possibly be a cheese clothed coin, I’ve seen several coins graded with that attribute
  3. Nice one, too bad it’s not the close AM or you would have a Yahtzee!
  4. Indeed a very nice dime, outstanding luster. The one thing that stands out to me that hasn’t been mentioned yet that would bump it down to a 67 is that it’s striked a little off center. Left side rim is definitely wider than the right. With some rim dings as well.
  5. Yeah I have close to 100 w quarters and about 15 rolls with W ends I’m saving back for the kids. Also Two slabbed are 68 and 6 slabbed at 67. My most valuable finds from vending is from nursing homes I guess the elderly people are using there old collections to buy snacks and drinks. I found an 1856 G$1 one day
  6. I’ve compared it to pics off of pcgs photo grades and this coin is absolutely flawless. I run a vending machine route and bust open 10-20 rolls of $25 daily and it looks fresh off the die. I wish I woulda taken pics of it to post here but it’s currently at NGC as we speak so I’ll let you all know either way when it gets posted in my account. I also sent in a 1876P T$1 four finger transitional type 1/2 but it might come back as cleaned. If not it should be a strong 65-66 MSPL
  7. No sorry no pics it’s currently at NGC as we speak, I’ll definitely post some when it comes back
  8. Tyvm I’m pretty sure I’ve found a ms 68 and I just know the value is a lot more for NGC on these than pcgs, if it is indeed a 68 it’s a $3,000 difference
  9. I have found several of these in the past year and have had these graded by NGC, but I cannot find them in the value section of the price guide. It shows me the value of mine when I scan the slab. Is there a section I’m not seeing? I can easily find the price guide on pcgs NGC is a little more difficult to navigate to find coin value IMO. Any idea where I can find this or does it even exist? Thanks and Merry Christmas
  10. The 4th picture down is of the reverse all others is obverse.
  11. That would be a die gouge. Same scenario on the modern speared buffalo nickel and the 2000 P $1 wounded Eagle. I would definitely have it graded as all “speared” varieties seem to have a decent value. Just my two cents, no pun intended! 😜
  12. I work in the vending machine industry which is perfect for a coin collector so I always have my eyes on the prize. I stumbled upon this one today as it stood out like a sore thumb and put it under the microscope. It’s a 2019-P Lowell Quarter. Is this a double die/die clash all in the same coin. Has anyone seen this yet on a Extremely modern coin. And what are your thoughts on having it graded and value? Thanks alot
  13. I’ve been collecting for about a year now and have noticed and always wondered why on most coins the lowest grade possible of that particular coin seems to be worth a little more and sometimes significantly more than the next few grades above it. What is the reason for this? as it makes absolutely no sense to me, I mean all u would have to do is take a coin that’s seems to be a 2-3 is rough it up to get it to that lowest grade and make more money. I know that sounds crazy but so does the grading system on this scenario. Thanks for any light on the subject.
