  1. I just don’t believe in all the hype between 69 and 70 . Unless you send in large bulk submission token for your thank you you’ll get a 70 or two out of a bunch there really no difference between the two grades I’ve seen a few MS68s I could see why they gotten that grade due to milk spots on the coin . I can see people collecting 70’s for registry I guess if they love it then do it
  2. I was talking about the yearly business strike/proof strike commemorative silver dollars 1983-present
  3. Just show you the big players are so sure ! They will have enough PF70 grades to meet the demands for anyone who wants pay out the cash before they are even released to public ... PF69 and PF70 is a joke on modern market to each their own drink the kool-aid you like
  4. I used to see them at shows all time on dealer tables I use to pass them up never bothered to stop see what they really look like ,they would make a pretty cool series of coins to put together they are plentiful in MS69 and PF69 grade just a little over melt price not so bad given a lot of them have a lower mintage compared to yearly ASE issue ... Maybe 30-40 years from now they will be appreciated more who knows
  5. I don’t come on here much , I been thinking about taking a break from my Morgan, Mercury, walker , classic commemorative , world coins , and start collecting something “modern” commemorative coins $1 silver coins I’m gonna try get them all in NGC which should easy in grade MS69 and PF69 ... I’m not Interested buying MS70 and PF70 I don’t see a difference in 69 VS 70 at all other than price tag difference .I’m not in for registry set or looking for money I just like the designs each year issue something different to collect for fun was just curious if anyone else been collecting the same ?
  6. I had a guy at work that was obsessed with get gold dollars out of candy machine he would dump $5 bill in to get 5 coins back he would always ask me is this Cheerio eagle ? I had tell him no hundred of times ! He actually amassed $300 in gold dollars (however he did find three “W” quarters in coffee machine as work) he was pretty excited about it ... But anyways on the Cheerio reverse 1999 eagle the middle tail feathers are more detailed and defined on a regular issue like you have the tail feathers are smoother in middle very few Cheerio eagles were made needle in haystack to find
  7. That thing so fake ! On heavy drinking night with one eye barely open I’d be able to spot that fake all the way across other side of the room. I’ve seen little kids draw better than that
  8. Few weeks ago my sister ordered something on eBay she said there some scammers on ebays selling products you pay for they show it shipped to your house (ghost package) she never received she was out of $200 however she contacted ebay they wouldn’t help her it shows she got her package they sided with the seller mostly all the time however she contacted FedEx they said they weren’t able to give out the (senders name) there wasn’t a package at all anyways, it was confusing the seller closed their account to cover up their tracks seems like 2020-2021 all scammers are taking advantage of people . I’d be ticked of furious if this was a coin I paid a lot for it never came in the mail however hard lesson learn for my sister don’t do business with low rating sellers , what’s a shame it makes it harder for a true honest new ebay seller to gain reputation when there a bunch of scammers all over ebay screwing people over . I hope you get your situation fixed seems likes there are dirty scammers on both sides buyer and sellers ebay and PayPal need take more responsibility in this matter $2,000 and no coin was shipped back to you ? That’s Bulls**t sounds real fishy Ebay would do that to you
  9. It been awhile since I been on here I used come on here all time , lately family , work , surgery kept me away from my hobby of coin collecting . I Recently started collecting world coins I’m taking a break from my US coin collecting . About few months ago I had my daughter at local small coin show with me she 18 now , I also have 2 older sons as well I used take them to coin shows few times when they were little ... Anyways we were looking at Morgan dollars one of most common coins we see just about every dealers table ... I was showing my daughter “wow look at this Morgan 1882-S MS66 $200” it was nice coin , she said to me what difference ? Coin next to it looks the same just about every dealer table has Morgan dollars until your eyes bleed ! You can’t miss it , she some what right also prices throw her off there tons of MS66 Morgan dollars out there why prices so high ? Not everyone buying them ... I explained to her that’s the way market is ... the Market is sky high on prices these days it amazes me people even have the money to spend on coins of higher quality I’m fortunate to grow with grandfather who showed me passion of collecting , seems like 60’s, 70’s, 80’s even 90’s we were exposed to this hobby not greedy about prices and money .... today I see a lot lesser kids or younger folks at coin shows , I’m beginning to wonder if future of coin collecting and market will be strong as it is today ? We all are growing older , we will need pass our collection off or sell it . How can we sell our Collections if no younger people aren’t interested in spending thousands and thousands of dollars for a collection ? How will dealers make a decent pay on coins or stay in business if not enough younger people aren’t interested in the hobby ? I see more and more younger people are interested in technology and electronics... it makes me wonder
