thanks elbezar--I may take you up on your offer when it's time for me to purchase the last few keys and semi-keys...
I'll be happy to help direct you towards what you're looking for. I'm constantly searching for myself and usually find things others are looking for too.
Still on 1895 - I think there's something else I have not shown yet:

Jackson,
Nice start to the halves. Its not easy finding the F/VF
coins that arn't messed with, but they are out there.
Good luck, and if I can be of any help, please feel free
to PM me.

Harvey,
Nice group of Peace Dollars...I won't venture a grade on them though.
I hate grading from images.
Here's a little something I just picked up, its the beginning
of a new Barber designed collection...yeah, I know the "CC"
mint marked coins will run alot but, I have always felt that
this series was one of our most beautiful in our nation's
history...too bad it never was intended as a circulating
coin in this country.

Here is a Barber half dollar-
You can say that again! Very nice Tom. Had that one long?
TomB,
I drool all over my keyboard everytime I see that coin.
I hope more people would appreciate the look of that coin
and refrain from dipping out their coins. [ ie: the 1895 I posted
above; its a nice coin, but thankfully it retained all of its
original luster.]

I had to scratch my head about this and then refer to my Breen Encyclopedia. You're right, Rey, Breen mentions [ # 3562 ] a 1908 Proof Dime Overdate. "Very Rare". Uncertain digit within 8, possibly a 6.
David Lawrence's reference book makes no mention of a Proof Overdate; however, he does list four varieties of RPD's. Breen mentions only one RPD, the Tripple 8, and classifies it as "Rare".
Thanks for the refresher course, as I had forgot about the RPD's. Looks like I'll be doing some reading in my Breen Encyclopedia this weekend.
