I assumed they are both a brass alloy but one appears to have more tin in the metal. Now I have seen about 5 to 6 others in both types and they also appear to have the yellow brass and the tinish brass There is no mistaking .them as being toned  Can they be analysed with out being damaged to determined the composition of the metal. 

I have two specimen Icelandic 1940 2 kronur coins that are from the EX-King Norton mint collection graded by PCGS and as well as two one Krona specimens from the same mint. I was thinking of have them graded by NGC.   I have the one krona and two kronur in what appears to be in the yellowish brass alloy and the second set in a Tinish like alloy ...( A off metal) ....Now my question is will you or can someone be able to tell me what the off metal composition is and if so can it be noted on the NGC label..... as well as the mint collection it came from.

I would like to find a book or internet site/ paper....That may have details about the minting practices of the Denmark Mint for the coins for Iceland , Faroe Islands and of course Denmark it self in the first half of the 20th century.

I would greatly appreciate any help......

Coins to be comprised in this set....No Commemorative's or Proofs only coins listed below which are all business strikes meant for circulation.

Thank you very much. I'm not sure what you meant buy type set in your reply. Just to make certain what I would like is a set that has all the circulating business strikes from 1946 to 1980 with all the years these coins were minted like for instant all the eyrir's and Aurar's and Krona's and all the Kronur's...not just one of each type of coins that was used in circulation. plus no Comm's or Proof's

I would like to know if you can create a Icelandic Republic set from 1946 to 1980 with only business strike issues only with No commemoratives of either silver or gold and no proofs of any kind...Just business struck coins used for circulation with any known varieties.
