  1. Every thing they do ....No matter what it is ...Is cute and funny but when they get older it becomes less cute and more like a horror and then in the back of your mind ...way way back ...you begin as time goes on....When things get crazy.... .....When the hell are they going to move out.....
  2. I'm going to apologize ahead of time ....I'm sorry...But that is to funny... I'm glad I don't use Alexa because I have two grandkids that are always on the brawl and they are all ways getting in to some kind of mischief..
  3. I I think I would send them to another TPG service still in the slabs and see what happens then. It would make for a very interesting submission....
  4. Hi Lisa Thank You so very much.....You and NGC are the ....BEST....
  5. A very very interesting story about this coin I myself would love to hear what NGC would say about this coin ..If you have it slabbed please post the results for all of us to hear.
  6. Hi I hope you can help me with this problem. I won a Stacks auction lot last month 06/27/2020 which included a NGC graded Iceland 1931 5 Aurar in MS-65 Cert # 3886834-025.. I noticed what I thought was lint on the slab and when I received the lot late last week I was very disappointed to see that this white stuff was in the slab and looks like it was from the white insert material ..that was stuck to the insert and while the coin was place in to the insert was when the debris was transferred on to the coin. I included some pictures......Please advise me what to do and would there be a charge to me to have this removed. I would also like to have my collection name on the new label Robertsson Collection ...I know I'm asking a lot.....Thank you for your time in this matter...
  7. Here is a upgrade To my Icelandic Kingdom era set ....I won this coin last week at a Stack's auction with 15 more slabbed coins from Scandinavia had to buy 16 coins to get the one I wanted but will sell the rest.
  8. Very Nice Score....Congrat's.....This medal and it two brothers ...The thick version and the gold version are on wish list and you know and heard about wishing in one hand.......LOL
  9. I always wondered about if the old fattys really added values to the coins..I know people collect them and maybe NGC was very conservative then they graded coins then ...I've seen that before. Maybe you should wait until you have the whole set completed then send them in to be reholdered ...I guess that would be a better move. I have to take a picture of his arsenal when I go to see him in the next few days.....
  10. Yes.....The Happy Dance....I forgot about the happy dance.........We are all happy for you...
  11. I always dread filling out those darn submission form....But happy when its all done and I myself do the same thing as you as far as consistently checking the status from the time I mail the coins to the return of them sometime 2-3 times a day..I'm worst then a first dad waiting for the baby to be born... Its a interesting story behind those metal and yours looks great...And your gut proofs to be right ...I always trust my gut..sometimes its the only thing that keeps me from making mistakes even when I'm thinking in the opposite way...I wonder what a 24 and 14K would be worth. Definitely out of my price range..... Enjoy your wonderful new addition to your all ready awesome set.....
  12. They would look totally awesomeif you did ...it gives you the sense of the set being more spectacular even if they are already.....
  13. It sure sounds like you did great on finding these beauty's ...It's always wonderful when you can put a set together that has all the same labels on them .I have been thinking of sending my best coins in my set to have them in all matching slabs and labels... it just makes them all look better ..In my opinion. Well if we ever go into an nerf war we will be sure to call on you and your son's to band together and defeat our enemies....
  14. Nice score on the coins....Congrat's. My grandson must have a dozen or so nerf guns from small pistols to canon looking things....if there is ever a war fought with nerf's he sure will be the winner.
  15. Since we are all collectors here I would assume we all go though this stage of collecting...It is a bid nerve ending to see a coin you just have to have..No I'm not going to cross them over since I have the 29 2K in a NGC MS-66 and the 46 2K in a NGC -64 but have a raw one that would grade a 65 or might just make it to a 66 holder and the 46 1K in a NGC 64 Thank you so do I.....And yes it does get real when you have to sell others to get the ones you really want..... Thank you....They are beauties...That why I had to have them.... And good luck with the ones your bidding on.... That stinks when you have a auction going off in the middle of the night when you have to be sleeping ..... But Cain't
  16. I just got finished buying three more Icelandic coins from a Ebay seller and now I'm convinced that I have a problem with these darn coins. I have never been obsessed about anything in my life other then my work....But when it comes to coins especially my Icelandic coins I'm a total Loony-Tune. As I was scrolling down the ebay listing to see if anything good was posted ...My heart began to race and I intensely clicked on all three listings and bought all three of the four coins the seller put up. They are truly beautiful coins with two of them have some really nice toning....So I just had to have them.....God.... Please Help Me ,,,,I don't ask for much........LOL Well here are the pictures of my latest additions to my collection 1929 2 Kronur MS-66 1946 2 Kronur MS-65 1946 1 Krona MS-64
  17. Those are very interesting coins I have been putting together birth sets for all the grand kids. Dude....You have a very beautiful looking wife.....You lucky son of a #^&@...... You rock....
  18. Well I see that you understand what I was asking....Thank You And yes the mega reholder cost is rather insane...But then again to holder any coin that can be as much as 28 mm is insane on its own.
  19. My Grandson has a Hugh collection of Lego's ....I got him the Saturn V rocket this past Christmas ...The thing is over 3 feet tall...It was alot of fun building it with him.
  20. The thing is that I asked if the price of $12 dollars also includes the scratch resistant holder.....I don't know why she answered me the way she did.
  21. So the cost with the scratch resistant holder will be $12 dollars each?????
  22. I want to have my collection of NGC graded coins to be reholdered with the scratch resistant holder and I was wondering what each coin would cost me. all the coins are of normal size and all the coins are under $500 in value. is the $12 cost for reholding includes the scratch resistant holder or is that going to be $5 more for the total of $17 dollars per coin and also can I have my collection name on the label as well at no additional cost...... Is there a bulk rate Thank you
  23. I have about 6 or 7 PCGS graded coins that I have plans on crossing over to NGC in the near future and I'm not really concerned about 1 point higher or lower ....It just doesn't matter....What matters is how my set looks like..... I agree with deposito ... I like the set to look uniform..... but I have noticed one thing about PCGS with world coins is that they tend to grade a point above NGC while NGC seems to grade more conservatively which is fine with me. and that's one of the things that I like about NGC...In my opinion PCGS has a cult following and believe they can never do wrong..Like Trump groupie's.
  24. Thank You Gary......For your very kind words..... I might just have one of the nicest Icelandic coin collection around. But then again I'm one of the insane one when it comes to collecting these coins... ...... I do have a bunch more (35) to submit ....But the last batch costed me $535 in total and I 'm waiting to see what comes up at auction this summer...
