Thanks Matt! In hand, I'm very pleased with the coins for the grade. I love the Indian eagle design.

Nice stuff guys!!!!!
x2
Joe, best be careful. Collecting that gold can be addicting. Look at Bill Jones.
Bill, thanks for the warning
If my collection ever looks remotely close to Bill's, I'd be happy.

Ryan, some great looking NEWP's.
Bill, I was thinking the same thing about the 64. My thought is the 64 doesn't have the same luster as the 66's. I don't have them in hand yet. Under HA's magnification page, the flow lines on the 66's are very noticeable whereas not so much on the 64. The 64 does appear very clean though.

Wow. Those are outstanding Brandon.

leeg,
That coin looks familiar. Did you just win that at Heritage? AU55?

Nice additions to all!

Very cool medal Bill.

Picked this up in the latest Legend Auction. I think it went a little under the radar with all the Sunnywood toners being auction. MS67 FB.
Joe that is a nice looking Mercury. I think you need crack the case a bit and get it to tone. Someone paid $3,055.00 for this 67FB PCGS.
Thanks Bill. Wow. Nice toner! How about I send this one to you to put in your new coin case!

Congrats Wygold! What an addition!

I do see the marks. Its a bit too deep for me based on images.
Looking at the coin in hand, the only real contact mark runs across the high cheek. It's not very deep. The other marks are abrasions when the coin rubbed against another at some point. They look worse in the picture as it tries to capture the deep mirrors that are on the coin.
-
Speaking of mirrors, had to get this one. It's a match to the 80-S I posted earlier in this thread. This one is a MS65 DPL. Might be a point overgraded as there's some distracting contact marks around the eyes and nose. They both reside in old no-line fatties and have a little purple/indigo on the rims. The fields on this one are a little cleaner and has nice mirrors.

Thanks Sam and Bob. I've been looking for a Texas that would catch my eye and this one certainly did. I've really come to love the artistry of this design as well. Both the reverse and obverse are so interesting. This coin has a nice patina and some very subtle color. I appreciate your kind feedback. I have it in hand and it's everything I expected.

Some really beautiful looking coins! I'll just congrats to all and good luck on your re-submit raisethis2!

Thanks Johnny and rrantique. I've wanted a Texas for a while and finally found one that really caught my eye. I like the consistent golden toning with a little crustiness on the rims.
