I've been noticing an issue in the Collection Manager in regards to one of my coins, a 2019 S Enhanced Reverse Proof Silver Eagle.  When I first entered it into the Collection Manager, everything was fine.  I have noticed lately that in the value column, it shows No Price.  If I delete the coin and then reenter it, then it will show the current price of $1900, but after a few days, it reverts to showing No Price.  Is this common for others that have this coin and, if not, what can I do so that it continues to show its value in my Collection Manager.

    Thank you.

Hello. Please read here about prices:

    https://boards.ngccoin.com/topic/425542-why-is-there-no-price-displayed-for-my-coin-in-my-ngc-registry-inventory/

We have also sent you an email. Thanks very much.

  2. Hello @Sfenst.

The new Morgan and Peace dollars are eligible here:

    https://www.ngccoin.com/registry/competitive/united-states/modern-special-issues/8962/

The NGC Registry software program is designed based on the Sheldon grading scale. There is no capability in the functionality of the program to accept a different grading scale, such as the NGCX 10-point scale. Thank you.

  3. Hello, @DANIEL HENRIQUEZ.

These coins are eligible in these slots and sets:

    • Quarter Dollars:  Statehood Quarters 1999-2008, Circulation Issue  - 2004-D WISCONSIN
    • Mint Sets: 1999-Date:  2004 Mint Set  - 25C 2004-D WISCONSIN
    • 100 Greatest/Top 50 Sets: 100 Greatest U.S. Modern Coins, First Edition - 2004-D WISCONSIN QUARTER, EXTRA LEAF HIGH
    • 100 Greatest/Top 50 Sets: 100 Greatest U.S. Modern Coins, Second Edition - 2004-D WISCONSIN QUARTER, EXTRA LEAF HIGH
    • 100 Greatest/Top 50 Sets: 100 Greatest U.S. Modern Coins, Third Edition - 2004-D WISCONSIN QUARTER, EXTRA LEAF HIGH
    • 100 Greatest/Top 50 Sets; 100 Greatest U.S. Modern Coins, Fourth Edition - 2004-D WISCONSIN QUARTER, EXTRA LEAF HIGH

Due to their unique nature, we would not give them separate slots in the "regular" competitive sets and thereby make them a requirement for every participant in those sets. You may create a Custom NGC Registry if you wish to display these coins on their own. Thank you.

    Dear Ali,

Dominican Republic one peso dated 2003 was NOT mint as regular coins, they were only made in PROOFS, this is way there is only one in the Registry, and that is because they made a mistake when slab, I consult with the Central Bank and they confirm that regular coins were never ordered, only proofs.

There is a  similar problem with the Gold 100 Pesos dated 1975 the Central Bank, orded them in regular (18.000) and proofs (2000), but because they look nicer with the Proof finish, the ignorant Governor of the Bank, ask all to have Proof finish, now because of this in the Registry there are only two regular coins and about 80 proofs

I hope you can correct the issue with the coins dated 2003.

    Best regard

    Isaac

    Hola, Isaac.

I sent a message to the senior graders. I will email you when I hear back from them. Gracias.

    Hi Ali,

Thank you. I have reached out to customer service.
In general, is there a guideline for how many variety specimens must be graded and counted in order to qualify for a spot to be added to the registry?

    Hello, @jkierans.

Creation of a new slot and a variety set is carefully considered on a case-by-case basis by our senior numismatic team. NGC population, availability of the coin/label in the marketplace, and other factors are analyzed. Thank you.

    Hi,

I have a question about the certifications, as well as would like a slot.

This is regarding 1 oz Libertad proof coins.

The NGC census shows only 1 detached wing 2006 1 oz.

However, I own three of them myself. One is listed as "pedigree" and the other two are just listed in title.

    Pictures and examples below.

Question 1: how can I have all 3 registered into the census and treated the same?

Question 2: can we create a slot and add this to the proof 1 oz variety Libertad registry?

    Thansk

    Hello, @jkierans.

Please email Customer Service at service@NGCcoin.com for any census questions or comments. The 2006 detached wing coin may be added to the existing 2006 slot. If/when we have more graded examples of this coin in the future, we can consider a separate slot at that time. Thank you.

I am looking for a shipwreck catergory.  These are some of my shipwrecked coins but not all.  Also would be interested in a Hoard or Collections Category.

    Thank you,

    Eric Carlson

    Hello, Eric.

Shipwreck themed coins are best represented in a Custom NGC Registry set. We do have an 8 Reales El Cazador set here: Mexico: 8 Reales - El Cazador Shipwreck. Thank you.

    Good afternoon,

I have just acquired an 1839 halfpenny at auction that has been graded by yourselves, but wanted to get a corrected attribution please. I have checked the registry as I noticed that the label did not note it as a bronzed proof, but noted that you have two separate categories for 1839 proof halfpennies; one as standard 1839 (which my coin is logged as), and the other bronzed.

I have attached a copy below of Peck's listing for 1839 halfpennies. All 1839 halfpennies were bronzed proofs, as they were not issued for circulation and only for the proof sets issued at the time. Some of these coins had inverted dies and they are very rare, although still bronzed.

Therefore, can you confirm that I can submit this as a mechanical error to have the label corrected please, and let me know if you are going to merge the two categories as there only needs to be one.

Please let me and Adam Smith in the UK service dept know if this can be done, as he is also waiting for a reply from you.

    Many thanks.

    Hello, @Christopher Ray.

All label corrections/updates to a coin's description go through Customer Service. If the UK Customer Service office is your local office, and you already reached out to them, then they should be reaching out to Customer Service in Sarasota. You may reach them at service@ngccoin.com or at 1-855-GRADE10 (855-472-3310).

The NGC Registry is a mirror of the grading screens. We have grade examples of 1837 (William IV) MS 1/2P coins. If there are any changes to the descriptions of the 1837 1/2P coins in the grading screens, after that occurs, the NGC Registry team can make any necessary adjustments to Registry slot names. Thank you.
