Holy Smokes! The 1894 is a freakin' tough Barber half dollar! Folks who don't collect this series have no idea how truly difficult this coin is.
I don't collect the series like you do, but I know thats one smokin RARE coin. Thanks for sharing!

That 1827 is a very nice curled base two. I 've been looking for one for my Bust half set and having a very hard time finding one.
Thanks, Mike. I bought it from Sheridan Downey, and it just jumped RIGHT out to me.
He also let me examine an 1824 over varous dates!
