  1. From the sellers pics I truly had no idea what to expect because the sellers pics left a LOT to be desired. I put a lot of faith in the PCGS team on this one cause of the not so nice pics. I give them a break because I know 1st hand how hard it is to get decent images of proof coins behind plastic. So with that said I was pretty happy when I opened the box to find this pretty one waiting for me. Thanks for looking😊 Edited to say 1937 Brilliant proof PCGS 67+
  2. Here’s one that arrived earlier this week that I find good enough to add to my primary collection. It will replace 2 PCGS 65’s. This one here is a 66 that looks more like a 67 to me. Thanks for looking, Joe
  3. My friend has some amazing subject matter to work with so it truly is a pleasure to work with his coins.
  4. You are absolutely correct in your observation. What happened here is I was balancing my lights along with my aperture and shutter speed of course the white balance is set with a grey card. I mistakenly sent my friend here the wrong picks. The brighter of the coins you’ve illustrated here were pounded with light and flooded the surface of the coins with way too much light along with and incorrect shutter speed and aperture. I shoot everything in a manual mode as this gives me more control over my images. The darker of the two coins represent the coins in hand. Thank you to all for the compliments on my photography. It means a lot, Joe
  5. What’s on the reverse of that cent? It sure isn’t just off center. Edited to add it looks like it says, (MERC?) on the reverse.
  6. New addition to my gold set. I love the color of this one.
  7. It’s not so much the grade as it is the beauty of the coin. I imaged this coin up for a friend of mine about 4 years ago and tried to buy it then but no cigar. I asked him to let me know if he ever decides to sell it. As a man if his word we struck a deal last week and now resides in my collection. Thanks for looking and the compliment on my imaging. Happy hunting, Joe
  8. Just came in today. I purchased from a good friend of mine that knew I’ve wanted to for at least 4 years. Thanks for looking
  9. I cannot put into words how much I love that piece. Congratulations on such a nice addition to your collection 👍👍
  10. My latest purchase was my last true coin purchase for 2021. I bought some silver around the same time but that doesn't count. I figured it would be cool to find a nice1922 that was about to turn 100 years old in a couple of days. Unfortunately, it's slim pickens for that year as not many denominations of US coins were struck in 1922. But this coin here popped up and caught my eye. I'm very happy to say I liked it so much I pulled the trigger. Nothing wrong with adding a double eagle Saint to my collection to end a not-so-great year. Happy new year to all out there in coinland, Joe
