Very nice Wendy! What a way to start the New Year!!!

Bob that is quite a lincoln! Here is a new 'greenie' for my half dime collection.

HI Wendy,
Glad you are getting interested. Conder tokens are in my view, a truly undervalued series, but alot of folks are starting see what this series has to offer and it won't be long before 'truly undervalued' changes to just 'undervalued'. But they are a fantastic series to collect and so diverse, so many ways to collect them. Enjoy your holiday drooling!

Two beautiful tokens Hard Times, I especially like the defiant look on the sheep on the Bedfordshire. Like it's saying...
"Shear ME? You sure you want to?"
Thanks HiHo, yup that be a tough sheep......

Hi Wendy,
There are several online dealers of Conders, check out their websites and read some of what they say about them. There is also the Conder Token Collector Club, their journal is pretty good. The dealer sites list a plethora of reference books.
Here are some links:

Purchased from Gary Groll raw at winter FUN in 2010.

Here is my NEWP from the Houston Money Show. Most everything on the bourse I was interested in was listed from 50% and greater over MV prices in the established guides. This one was close to MV - i.e not too much above. I don't see how the dealers will sell anything when their prices are so over the top. On the other hand, it may be that my abilities to identify the very choice examples has increased and thus the MV guides are not applicable for these. Maybe, but one dealer was reasonable and made the effort to work with me on price. So here is the result of that, this one fits well into the set I am building for seated halves.

Oh man is that 1857 FE is well struck! Whats it grade?

very nice Pidcock's with an interesting cracked planchet. I don't know why NGC did not put it in a Details holder if they believed the planchet was an issue.
Here is a nice proof-like - hard to image the blue in the lower field as shown is actually pervasive on the reverse but hard to image.
I like the et cetera at the end of the advert where the die maker did not have enough space to put it in so was creative with a '&c'

Brandon, I would part with it, but one of my themes for Conders is 'sheep', you see the problem here...... But I will keep an eye out for you, if I come across any horse themed Conders sans sheep, or another of this one, I will let you know.

Thanks for the nice comments on my dime and hd. The bubble on the obverse of the half dime is pretty cool - an extreme example of a common type of clash with the reverse eagle's left wing imprinted on the obverse die during the clashing event - heck it even has flow lines over it. Note the die crack running from star 7 through the front part of Miss Liberty's profile - this was obverse 2 for this year and was the second use of this die - in the late stage of this obverse in its first use (LM2), the clash and the die crack developed, so this clash is actually from a different reverse (W), than the reverse die used for this die pair (Z). The LM2 variety has an R1 rating - so this obverse was used heavily to the point of cracking and being clashed before its use in LM5 die pairing where they mated it with a different reverse. Interestingly, it was the 3rd use of the reverse Z.

I have a general question. Does anyone out there know how to get rarity information on Conders - I am talking about going beyond the DH info - Common, Scarce, R, RR, RRR etc. Where is there info about how many of each are extant? I have all of the Bell books, but they don't really help with that, just interesting info on different Conders.
Thanks, HT

Quite impressive haul from the DNW auction everyone! Mine just arrived today. I will try to post them soon, but they are off to NGC for slabbin' pdq.

Here is a new one I bought at ANA Chicago:
-
That is a gorgeous half eagle, nice and original toning!
Here is a seated half I won at the ANA Stacks - the only one I had a hope in winning a bid for in the Osburn collection. Close up of the 4 punches of the 8 shown.

brg, your General Elliot has one impressive nose I would say, nice token! (thumbs u
-
Catbert, yeah I like them dentils and the shape, plus the rich toning. All of these attracted me to this one. Did you go to Ron Sirna's table at ANA? He had around 200 high grade Conders. Here is one I got from him:
Die cracks, die polish lines, repunched letters, mis-spellings, you name it.

Nice horses folks!

Here is another, this token is oval in shape, has a neat look to it.

Thanks Martin! Coinman, yep both are from ebay....... We shouldn't bid against each other but instead......

Been looking for a CC quarter for quarter mintmark type for a while, they always go for too much - MV or higher, people like them CC's. So I finally got one I liked, still paid too much for it:
