Stunning Yarm, lets see more examples folks.........
-
Hey everyone, there does not seem to be a thread completely dedicated to Conder images. Or if there is, its been a long time since posting on it. How about if we have one?
I'll start with one of my favorite farthings:
Please post yours, let's see how far we can go
-
Are we seeing Washington's aura?
Veeeriieee nice!
-
Two positive sells so far on the boards:
X2rider
keigwin
I enthusiastically work with them again on a transaction!
A note to others here to PM me is you see anything in my ebay store you like
-
I think you did an excellent job with the image
Krypto, the half just sold in two days with a BIN on ebay, so I guess it was imaged well enough to bring its beauty out - as you know from your work, if you have the right coin to image, it can look pretty darned good - don't tell any other sellers that because it is an edge we have over them.
Cheers, HT

HardTimes - who imaged your 1876 Half ?
Nice looking coin !!
Nice new examples everyone, well done!
Elbesaar, I do all of my own imaging. Sometimes I can nail it when the example is as nice as this one. Sometime I have much room for improvement. I would love to have a few sessions with real experts to help me improvement my photography.

Nice Everyone,
Just arrived yesterday. Dipped and retoned for along time in an album.
Happy Holidays, HT

One more purchase from this weekend. From my favorite mint and favorite period - Hard Times to the beginning of the Civil War. And this one also has what appears to be strike doubling on the profile of the face, a touch on the right hand, and the left side of the rock. Gotta love them seated halves...........
-
Thanks for the nice comments everyone, Dean and I, fellow Texans, we love them coins y'all..... OP that is one sweet liberty nickel. I fell in love with seated halves at the Houston money show, so I am getting out of Hard Times tokens Broadstruck - just kidding, can't drop out of my favorite series. Elbessar, stick to them Barbers we don't need no competition at them auctions
-
Dean did you by chance pick that up from Charmy? Here is a seated half I had fortune to pick up this past weekend. I love it, and it has a strong carthweel luster on top of what is shown. I did not amp up the saturation to get those colors, this is what it looks like.

Nice Franky there Shane!
Ditto!! (thumbs u
stunner, and in a historic holder to boot........ (thumbs u

My two newps were from the last Heritage auction also. It is really quite amazing to me just how misleading HA photos can be, both of my pieces had much more toning than what the HA pics have - it is as if they want everything in sliver to be blast white...
That is one lovely lady Robec, and I will trade my 1834 half cent with yours any day leeg - OP I am always envious of your presentations.

I paid too much for this one, but I figure I have a couple decades for appreciation........

Love the FEC, but you can keep the Giants.
I most certainly will keep both, thanks! The other two MLB teams in CA dream of having a pitching staff, and the venue in downtown SF that the Giants have. Imagine, take the trolley down Market Street, hop off between Union Square and the Moscone, take a nice stroll down a few blocks to AT&T Park, watch Lincecum pitch a shutout while Renteria knocks 'em into McCovey Cove, win the World Series on the way, and then after the game, choose from 100s of great restaurants to celebrate in! In your dreams LA and Oakland! But what would a good ole Texas boy like me know about them Giants?
Don't get me wrong, I like the players and being born in Oakland I also like San Francisco. As a true Dodger fan from the days of Gil Hodges, Duke Snider and Roy Campanella, it's our sworn duty to be anti-Giant. I wouldn't expect anything less from a Giant fan.
Well put! We can disagree about the teams, but the love of the game is in you!

Nice Bust half dime! In Celebration of the Giants victory, here is an interesting Flying Eagle cent, obtained from Rick Snow:
Fying' Giants!

FUN show pick-up, from the table of Coin Rarities Online.......
-
Here is a newp from FUN, Mr. Osburn's table. I am trying to put together a set of 19th century halves with album toning. Obviously dipped a long time ago prior to being in the album but hey I like the eye appeal that this combination gives......
