Friends, I do think it is a great thing that NGC is encapsulating our problem coins. I have 14 PCGS genuines. We pay for a service and all coins should get encapsulated for preservation.The new slabs for these coins looks great.

The only part of this I don't agree on is the 50% points. I watch the auctions looking for a replacements for my 1890CC,1892CC & 1893CC genuines and I see a lot of ANACS & ICG details coins,and yes now PCGS genuines are at the best auctioneers.I just don't think giving a details coin so many points is a good idea.

I believe that if all detailed slabs were given 3 points we would have our detailed coins safe,slabbed,and CCS will not get flooded with them.
