Japan 1906 1 Yen
As I mentioned in another post, I am refocusing my collection towards silver world crowns. I am trying to get them in NGC slabs when I can afford, but as most of you will attest... easier said than done. If I can get a really nice crown, raw, for a decent price I will jump.
Now... I know what some of you are thinking... a sucker and his money are soon parted, but not this time. I have several people that I do business with on a regular basis, and when dealing with people on the net, I have several precautions that I use to make sure I don't get burned, and so far, I believe I have been quite successful.
Anyway... this is one of my latest additions. From Japan I present to you a 1906 1 Yen. Y# A25.3 Comp 90% silver, ASW .7800. Minted under the rule of Mutsuhito. Very nice detail on both sides, I'd give it a solid AU.
Don't know when I will get around to another post, but it will be installment 3 on "LIBERTY"
Hope you all had a great weekend.
Mike
