I just looked through 10 rolls of the new dollars
The mint was selling them in Grand Central
Apparently rolled by N.F String and Son. Blue type, White Background and Red Stripes.
Wow, not a single MS66 in the whole bunch, may not have been any MS65s if they were tough on the grading.
I guess I will need to go trough another 10. Hoping to find something worth sending in.
Just to clarify, my previous post about ratios of NGC to PCGS was based on the ratio of NGC and PCGS percentages at MS69.
Example, if NGC graded 1% at MS69 and PCGS graded 10% at MS69 that would be a 10X ratio. Meaning for every coin NGC graded MS69 PCGS graded 10.
As was the case with the first quarter mentioned. This cannot be easily explained by anything other than grading standards for 2006 SMS coinage.
