Ngc grade: Not Genuine

It turns out the coin she carried here from poland 35 years ago has been determined to be not genuine.

She gave it to me as a cherished treasure she had been waiting to pass down.

Now I feel as though I need to replace the fake coin with a real coin.

I saw one graded by NGC just last week on ebay for about $350. I can only hope and wait that I see another in time to purchase it and get it delivered before she remembers to ask me about the grade the coin received when I submitted it.

I told her that I would show her the coin, once it was graded and encased in a protective slab.

Even though the coin was not from the date she was born I made a spot for it in the polish sig set I plan to start filling as a birth year set in her honor.

The coin has been shipped back to me, I expect to receive it back sometime next week.
