Packaging is different...and it might again change after they stop the state quarters program sometime in 2008-2009. I was just about getting used to the 20 coins

 

Anyone joined the subscription program at the Mint? (I did for one set. not planning on sending these for grading after seeing the Presidential Proofs results).

I have a subscription for 10 sets. I have 10 sets of the Prez proofs at NGC in Quality Control. I hope to have results later today or tomorrow.

If you call them im sure they will let you know what the grades are. I did and they told me. Out of 4 presidential sets i got 1 70. Not bad when you look at the pop report.

I did not realize that they would include the dollars with the Proof set. I thought that they might be a stand-alone item.

 

If they are like the quarter sets, the dollar only Proof sets will impossible to sell.

I did much better than I thought I would.

I sent in 20 sets and got 1 full set of 70's plus 7 more 70's (11 total).

There was 1 68 and the other 68 coins were 69's.

The proof sets are a good price @ $26.95 Last years proof set was $22.95 only $4 more for the Prez proofs.

I agree Joe. I don't mind paying $4 more for proofs I just paid $15 for in thier own little box. BTW, congrats on your grades.

Yes 8 70's but not a complete set of 70's. I did not get a Jefferson graded 70 so I can't make any 4 coin 70 set's. I will probably make some 69's and then sell the rest as singles.
