Got my wisdom teeth out

13 posts in this topic

I'm currently sitting here with an extremely numb mouth, eating apple sauce that I have to look down to see if I spilled any on me because I can't feel it dribbling down my lips. And when the numbing finally does wear off I have a bottle of Vicodin waiting for me. Please post a coin to make me happy. grin.gif

I kept my wisdom teeth. Still have them at 32. My father still has his at 61. I’ll post for you my new Pilgrim because I bet they kept their wisdom teeth as well.

Coinguy19----- Won't post a coin but want to remind you to keep the ice on your face---20 minutes on---then 20 minutes off. I'm sure your surgeon gave you these instructions. But, for your sake, please follow them. Would recommend you do this the first two days. It truely does keep the swelling down---even if you do still swell. Milkshakes are great during this time. Ouch! I remember the ordeal well when mine came out. My dentist decided to do it one tooth at a time over four weeks during Christmas break when I was in grad school. Better to do it all at once and be done with it. Listen to the advice Bob "Supertooth" gave as he is more than a coin specialist. Here's something to help brighten your day.
