Has anyone seen or heard of a 1981 'D' Lincoln cent that ain't copper?

If so please tell me about it, if not ............what have I got???.......

Welcome Bob. Sounds like you have a penny at least. You may want to go into further detail of what you're looking at.

Very, very likely that you have a normal copper cent that someone plated.

Thanx for the input folks. I'll try to get out a picture of the cent, but I am in agr4eement that I have a cent that was de-plated.

Can't have a 1981 cent that has been de-plated. The 1981's were solid brass alloy, no plating. So you probably have one that someone plated, not de-plated.
