Nice birthday

I've only been collecting a few months, but my wife and kids are being supportive. They snuck over to a local coin store and surprised me with some nice stuff. She got me a neat proof British pound. Then each kid got me a nickel--one V and one buffalo. Finally a Dansco album for the V nickels, as I already had the buffalo album. My wife said the ladies who run the shop, McBride's in Austin, were super helpful and steered her away from some coins they though I wouldn't like and into some better stuff at a reasonable price. Life is good!

Welcome to the forum, Buddy. Great to have support when starting in this endeavor. Hope it continues when you sell the farm to get a coin you just have to have. 27_laughing.gif
